Eurovision: All Countries on Non-Qualifying Streaks (2023 post-contest)
Музыка
In this video, we are looking at the countries that have not been qualifying from their semi-finals in their most recent efforts and for how long they have failed to do that consecutively.
I have included all countries on non-qualifying streaks, no matter how long ago their last participation was. In cases of ties, the country with the lower qualification rate won the tie. Essentially, the higher a country is ranked in this video, the worse it has been doing.
Hope you enjoy the video! Don't forget to like and subscribe!

@@albanerausmkosovo7539It doesn't help that much, you might get some minor points from countries where your ethnic group make up a great percentage of the population but that's just a little help, if you don't get the rest of the public to vote for your song then you can't get a higher place. Also Lithuanians don't live in every single European country, they are mostly concentrated on 5 European countries outside of Lithuania and they don't even make up one of the largest foreign born groups there, even me who lives in a country with many immigrants has never met a single Lithuanian living here, also this year they got 46 votes on televoting and in 2017 they got 2nd last in their semi final, where was the so called diaspora to help them then?
@albanerausmkosovo7539
Жыл бұрын
@@chenles_defender There are ofc exceptions, but in general, countries like Lithuania, Albania, Armenia, Serbia, Poland, Ukraine, etc always benefit from diaspora/neighbor voting. In many semi finals, the points difference between the 8-12th place is extremely low and can be influenced by diaspora voting. For example Serbia this year probably wouldn't have gotten through if it wasn't for 10 points from the Croatian public. Furthermore, the difference between the 10th and 15th place this year have been only 9 points. If Austria (15th) would have such a big diaspora as Lithuania has or at least one country which gives them 12 points for free, they would've been at least 5 places higher.

@@florenna They didn't deserve to be NQ'ed, that what they mean.
Imagine having mess qualification rate than san marino
Not a big fan of Georgia's efforts, Iru is definitely my favorite since 2015 Latvia though, they haven't send a bad song since Cake to bake, even their weaker ones like 2019 are actually kinda good Truly underrated
