@@franciscoflores1451 I get why it didn’t place in first place , but Gåte definitely didn’t deserve last place tough. Norway actually sent something different this year and sang in Norwegian. But sadly for them it didn’t hit the entire Eurovision audience. I think the reason for this is because, Ulveham is that kinda of song where you kinda have to let the song grow on you. But in addition the music is actually really professional, it’s something unique and like Gåte knows what they’re doing. We can kinda compare this with France in 2022 with Fuleen. The problem with this is that we are now risking that Norway is gonna send some generic pop the next year… 🇳🇴

​@@nickinewnham2437 The Dutch broadcaster says Joost got disqualified for.... making a gesture to the camera after being filmed despite they had an agreement to not film him in that moment. Investigations are still going on but as it stands now it would be RIDICULOUS to DQ him for that. Not to forget that a different delegation literally bullied other delegations with repercussions yet Joost got DQ for making a gesture after his boundaries were repeatedly crossed..

​@liesbeth5742 I think its important to split the decision to have Israel in and not allow Netherlands. Whilst I can't fully comment on Netherlands as we are unaware of specifics but if he was threatening or did something then that's unacceptable. That's one decision. Separate is Israel who I think shouldn't have competed as you can't have them without the politics.

I think people don't understand that, while yes, both cases are about a country being disqualified (or not being disqualified), mentioning both in one sentence is weird and doesn't honor the complexity of both cases. I even agree witg both statements here, but mentioning Israel in a discussion about the Dutch is not fitting and will make you look a bit foolish. But that's just my view on it, I'm happy to hear from somebody who see's this all abit differently😊

In the future, the organizers of the Eurovision Song Contest must think about continuing this way of scoring contestants. There is an obvious difference between what is best for the jury and what the audience thinks. And most film festivals have several awards, which are divided into the jury award, the audience award, the best screenplay and the overall winner in the form of a grand prix. I don't see an obstacle to awarding prizes for the Eurovision Song Contest in the same way. It's obvious that all of that is evaluated here as well, so why not separate those awards as well. People would feel like they were not cheated. I feel like when the Grinch stole Christmas. Well, those statues cost a few hundred euros, so almost nothing. And the earnings from televoting are astronomical. And why do I now feel as if someone reached into my pocket and stole money? Do you feel that way too?

Like such a stupid argument. First, in the Olympics a jury is the responsable to decide the gold medal, not the public. Later on Nemo actually got a lot of votes of the televote, is not like them were the least voted. And the rules are clear the winner is the one who gets more points of the sum of the televote and jury votes. If you cannot accept that maybe Eurovision is not for you, like learn to lose

Germany improved with staging. Vocals were still great, but he would need a better song to do well. Estonia's staging was underwhelming to me. The vocals also were kind of shaky, but i still love them, their funny attidude and the song itself.

People talking about corruption in this case, clearly don't know what it means. Switzerland won, because they had a great song, vocals and staging. The whole package. Croatia also had the whole package, but it's clear that Nemo's vocals were just on another level, and juries had to appreciate that. When you check the expected and the actual voting, then you'll see that Croatia did far better with juries than expected, but on the other hand fall under expectations in the public vote. In lots of countries where it was expected for Croatia to win the public vote, Isreal or Ukraine won it. I guess the solidarity votes took a lot points from Croatia's expected public voting. So no corruption, only bad choices of voters.

For me the most controvesial eurovision in history because: -The Netherlands got dsq and people don't know for what reason -Israel take part in this competition when they do war crimes (Russia in this situation got banned for eurovision) - Lorren said that she will not give winning statue fot Israel if Israel will win - Italien TV leaked televoting in 2 semi-final - Serbian TV was stopped Polish performance to transmit arrival head of China Before somebody says that I think Russia should got unbanned for eurovision, no I think that Russia and Israel should have got both banned for doing war crims.
