Wow, these guys seem so closed off to other people, beliefs and perspectives. The Irish number is inspired by paganism which was part of European culture until Christianity exterminated it. It's different from satanism. Also, people of different sexualities that express themselves differently to what is the norm are as much of human beings as anyone. They deserve the same respect. The first and second half of europapa is so meaningful and good and he SHOULD HAVE won.

The white guys literally had no commentary and the little that they did say they didn’t even speak English but rather what seemed like Russian. Ireland was not satanic in any way. I just see a clear lack of appreciation to European art here. I do like that Americans are trying to understand Eurovision but I do think you need a open mind to enjoy it

what's funny is that it's not that hard of a concept to grasp on this is just a one big musical festival, where all countries send their song and there is the winner in the end that's basically all you need to know and if we're talk about music, I mean yes... americans are not famous for consume pop culture outside of their own, but like most of the songs are pop songs that can sound at least somewhat familiar to you? with a few exceptions every year, but it's just shows how closed-minded americans are, if that's not about them and their culture and experiences 🫢
