The points from my house were all for Israel and one for France... the boycott of this young woman, who was only going to sing at a song festival, where politics is theoretically prohibited, is indecent. Even though Israel didn't win 5th place is still a win! Karma is a bitch and Eden went through the competition with such grace and class. I wish her nothing but the best for her.

@@cobrazax there was a big campaign against Eden with her past in Russia. Plus she was very closed during the show and didn’t show any opinion about war in Ukraine, that looked strange at least. So, my advise, our countries have to speak to each other more often and be allies! People with minds understand that. We WAIT Eden to talk loud about Ukraine’s support, about her sorry towards taking part in music competition in occupied Crimea while she were kid and her silence during Russia’s invasion for this 10 years and at least 2 past years. Because it’s very important for us. It will change a lot.

The fact the song playing at the flag parade when eden stepped on stage was "I don't care" and that she had the most screen time at the flag parade proves ebu isn't really anti -israel.

Greek here: unhappy about Estonia n Norway and San Marino that was disqualified. I loved those but apart from that, I also really loved Croatia, Switzerland, France, Germany, Ireland.

They told everyone that they had two songs with which they could go to Eurovision. There is one of them, the well-known one - "Teresa & Maria", but the other one is called "GET UP", and between them the first one was chosen for the contest. By the way, they kept it a secret, but only today it was released to the public. I have goosebumps from the song "GET UP"!!! Please make a reaction to this song! *By the way, the girls themselves said that they thought that the song "GET UP" should have been in the contest and that they themselves liked it better and said that it was more suitable for the Eurovision Song Contest, but the producer and other people chose the song "Teresa & Maria" for the contest. Marco’s agenda is music compared to many others, also the winner's one. I respect Nemo and his song and performance was incredible. But he is also pushing his own agenda, I respect it but I don't like it, sorry. Eden is super strong and deserves huge respect she could perform perfectly under so much stress and pressure but her delegation didn’t do much favors to her unfortunately they were not behaving smartly as well as they should act always peacefully. About behaviors others like Bumbie during the contest there were crossed many boundaries and nobody was punished just Joost which was probably extreme. Very shameful Eurovision this year I just hope we learn the lessons for the better in the coming years.

The jury selected the winner AGAIN; this time jury's #1 was #5 by televote! Nemo had great vocals, but very simple staging. Ukraine's staging was the best, by far: a little masterpiece with every second and detail aligned with and conveying the message.

@mustikka5 We've had Eurovision without the jury before. It was tried for several years. It seems like a reasonable idea - who doesn't like the notion that the people should decide? - but unfortunately, it doesn't work. In fact, it was a bit of a disaster. What happens when you get rid of the juries is that it incentivises countries to send lowest-common-denominator novelty songs to try to appeal to the more frivolous side of public opinion. So Eurovision turns into a novelty song party, genuine talent is squeezed out, and no country dares send anything genuinely innovative or fresh, because there's no point taking that kind of creative risk, since it's doomed to failure when it will inevitably suffer in the televote. You might think it would be great to get rid of juries but believe me - we don't want to go back there. It was the shittest era of Eurovision by far in terms of average song quality when the juries weren't there.

In the last 6 contests Israel brought on a victory, a 3rd and a 5th place. A true Eurovision megapower.
