I agree with most of your prediction. In Germany (my country) almost everyone would like to get a result like you predicted. I hope that Norway and Ireland will achieve a better result. If France won, that would be absolutely fine for me. France would be a deserving winner.

France kinda destroyed its chances during yesterday’s jury show, I have understood. But similar was told about Isaak actually, who was good throughout most of the song but in the end failed a lot of notes :( let‘s keep the fingers crossed for him, he deserves to be in top-20 👌

I agree with your ranking. Think its very possible! But… due to the fact that there has been extensive media coverage of Eurovision this year, more people than usual will probably watch and also watch from the start as they are curious. So it will probably be different regarding voting and attention. so early participants can get a lot of attention and more votes than usual. Maybe even the songs later on vill suffer a little bit because of this due to that you can vote from start. Exciting!

Good morning I 'm French. Sorry, I'm not good at English at all (usually English tongue is super difficult for French people I garantee you, more than the other latin countries. Because in France, compared to the worlwide you speak very few english at school, even though you learn to reading and writing, a rather good quantity of English in school . Obviously a lot of french people get a rather decent level of english , but believe me there are only few French people who are really good in English. Generally those are people who travel all over the world or who travel in UK, or US, or in Austalia, or other english native speaking countries...) , but I can see Slimane rating between-top 3-10 range . I' m trying to explain you the truth. Slimane, he' s likely the better vocalist in this contest in my humble opinion. I think the juries will appreciate his voice a lot in general. But pay attention, look at " Mon amour's" lyrics and scan them. You will see when Slimane says in the beginning part " Je t'aime, j'sais pas pourquoi". These verses are in the same tone, in the same melody level than " Chanter," a song of another French famous singer : FLORENT PAGNY. This FLORENT PAGNY vocalist is very popular in France and famous for his beautiful and powerful voice as well. And inside the Florent Pagny's song intitlled " Chanter" , written in 1997, there is a part of the song when the singer says these verses" "Ne plus faire que chanter Et faire s'unir nos voix Autour du vin qui ennivre Chanter quelqu'un qui s'en va Pour ne pas cesser de vivre" These verses above from Florent Pagny's song are very similar ( melody, tone...) with those Slimane verses in the middle of his " Mon amour" song, when Slimane says : "Allez, reviens à Paris Fais-le pour nous, je t'en supplie Je le promets, j'ai compris". Especially, we get , on the one hand the two rhymes " ennivre", vivre, and another hand "supplie", "compris". I 'm pretty sure this is a copy and taste because I know very well both songs. We have to tell the truth and to be honest, this section is a copy taste of " Chanter". But it is in my opinion all the Slimane's song that is a copy taste of Florent Pagny's one. Both songs are ballads , super simple composition, super emotional which penetrate right through your body and your soul, with two great voices, and remind us of the sorrow, the sadness. If the jury discovers that copy and taste maybe (I hope not obviously) it could a little bit and embarrassing aspect for the him. Because of the lack of lyrics originality this could not enjoy the jury, even I personally don't believe it will be impactful with the televoters, because the majority of the audience and viewers, ,don't know about the copy and taste. Because of the simplicity of the song and the desire of penetrating our hearts, the authenticity is even a more important aspect if we compare with other entries.. The Slimane voice stands out compared to the other ESC candidates, but not all the composition , or instruments inside the song . For Slimane, the most important it is himself, his presence in front of the audience and viewers, throughout his body language and his powerful voice, and his soul, his aim is touching us, and even stronger move us . The harmony or the instrumental parts are secondary, not that much important for him in his proper opinion. All of that is very comparable with the well known French-Canadian musical : "NOTRE DAME DE PARIS", with singers like for instance the canadian :"GAROU", . It clear that the most part of the Slimane inspiration, is a copy and taste of Notre Dame de Paris. A ballad and slow song like that will not please to every body, unfortunately. Some people and voters prefer joyful pop trash songs with a lot of dancers , with rtyhmic pace, this is a normal attitude people don't have all the same musical sensibility ....although I think a lot of girls will root for Slimane.😍 Other people will prefer better composition, or better instruments...
