This is a simple job, but you went the extra distance to show all the little angles and details. Thanks. One thing I will say is that one of the fans runs pretty much all the time, while the other one only comes on if the AC system gets super hot which even in Southern California is not very often. On my 2001 anyway. Yeah when one of those fans is broken, it vibrates so bad that you think the motor is still running. One little hack, is that if the main fan breaks you could just switch the wire connectors to switch to the other fan and not use AC until you can replace one of the fans. I suspect that's what actually happened when I paid a mechanic on the road to fix it, it has me wondering if all he did was switch the wires!

Brown is negative and red is positive. All ground cables on vw are brown.
