Great video, Don. I took my bike down to Bordeaux last week via Eurotunnel and it's simplicity itself, isn't it? I had a lovely ride. First time I used a Sanef tolling télépéage transponder too in an iPod holder strapped to my arm which was so good. Zoomed through all the toll stations!

i have had that problem i was 30 mins early and got put on the nex train which was in 3 hours and i took flexiplus which means you can board on any train whenever you want

I've used the Eurotunnel a few times, never again.. every time I've been it's had delays up to 2 hours! But when I've been over on the ferry only ever 1 delay which was due to severe weather. Plus on the boat you can sit down and grab a brew, which for me as a biker is a real plus 👌🏻

Think you were very unlucky, only been delayed once. The train is great as it only takes 30 mins which helps us bikers unless you don't need to eat up so many miles. Both are great!! :)

I always thought you'd drive through it, as a Brazilian, never heard of it 😅

My 1290 SA is in the shop... apparently the immobilizer is causing the whole bike to shut down while riding and won't start... thought it was a spark problem or fuel injector/pump. Only has 5k on it!

I know... I just felt bad for my tech at the dealer. He said he had to pull 9 separate ECUs and KTM made him test each one. That's how complex our bikes are. One goes out of whack and it's a domino effect. I should be grabbing it by the end of the day hopefully.

Wow that's crazy! Very annoying but the bikers are still amazing. Feel that, once you buy a KTM you need yo get it working to be perfect.

Hi Don, great video. I am heading to Spain next month on my 890 ADV via the tunnel. I’ve noticed you’ve got the same KTM tank bag as I just received yesterday. How does the end nearest to the front of the bike actually attach to the bike? I can’t find a way at all!!

Cheers buddy! Nice one, yeah you need to clip the front in first then the back, front being the bit towards the clocks. Make sure you have the correct fitment on the fuel tank cap.

Ah i see, no sure maybe you need to strap it to the frame just in front of the fuel tank

Use tunnel 3 times a Yr on bike two things that piss me off, they make u wait till last to board even if pissing down an

Euro tunnel is the train from folkestone which is for vehicles like in this video. The Eurostar is from london kings cross which is for passengers only and the ferry is from Dover for both vehicles and passengers. Both the ferry and euro tunnel go to Calais unlike the Eurostar. Hope that helps :)

No it was the valve clearances in the end
