The frog-croaking audio transition between each section in the video was a nice touch. It repeatedly reminds the viewer of the destination (France). LOL 😆

I'm so glad I watched this before booking a ticket! I find Ferry ports unnecessarily confusing, almost seems deliberate. But compared to the route you had to take at Folkstone, i think I'll take the Ferry. The only benefit I see is that your car is less likely to get damaged on the train (if you avoid the high likelihood of an accident before getting on the train) than it is on the Ferry. You still have to park up and wait to be called. Overall it may still be quicker but is it worth the extra cost and stress....

Good and especially educational video on how to drive onto the train to Calais with a passenger car with or without a trailer/caravan. I myself have been able to do that for several years in a row, sometimes 3 times a week with a truck/Lorrie, which is a completely different story, ha ha, so as a driver you are not allowed to stay in your cabin, in contrast to passenger car transport. Here is a short impression of how I rode onto the train at the time, if the link can remain for a while, I don't want to hijack any viewers or something like that. that is not the intention, but this gives a different view of transport through the tunnel from Folkesone to Calais and vice versa. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pmd2w9SYqtbJeM4.html

I think most people (including me) just stay in their cars, but you can use the toilet facility or stand outside your car if you want. As it takes only half an hour for crossing and you should immediately drive out once you arrive, you wouldn't find anything else to do really. :)

Depends on which. We have just compared both for our holiday and both were around £120, but that is dependant on what times you book and how far in advance.
