The frog-croaking audio transition between each section in the video was a nice touch. It repeatedly reminds the viewer of the destination (France). LOL 😆

Damn. Didn't realise you stay in your car!
That's what I was looking for. Very useful. Any tips on driving on the right side? Thanks.

Thank you for watching. It's a bit confusing but you'll get used to it very quickly. Watch and follow other cars ahead of you. :-)
I'm so glad I watched this before booking a ticket! I find Ferry ports unnecessarily confusing, almost seems deliberate. But compared to the route you had to take at Folkstone, i think I'll take the Ferry. The only benefit I see is that your car is less likely to get damaged on the train (if you avoid the high likelihood of an accident before getting on the train) than it is on the Ferry. You still have to park up and wait to be called. Overall it may still be quicker but is it worth the extra cost and stress....

Thanks a lot for watching. I haven't tried the ferry yet, so I'm unable to do fair comparison. Maybe I should try next time. :)
Great video and straight to the point instructions. How do you know when they call your letter?

Thanks a lot for watching. I had to frequently check the board. Not sure if there're any smarter ways which I didn't know.
Do you get ear popping or pressure when in the tunnel? I can't seem to find the answer online. Very informative video. It's nice to know what happens and what to do.

Great Video, when you shownthe east and west bound motorway, which one is it to head to Disneyland please?
@londonwalker3362

Thank you for watching! I would recommend the eastbound (the right lane at the fork) which will lead you to take A26 & A1.
Thanks for the video. How long before departure time would you advise to get there?
@londonwalker3362

On the booking confirmation email, I was advised to arrive at least 1 hour but no more than 4 hours before the booked departure time. Hope it helps.
Hi how long from denver too frenc?
Good and especially educational video on how to drive onto the train to Calais with a passenger car with or without a trailer/caravan. I myself have been able to do that for several years in a row, sometimes 3 times a week with a truck/Lorrie, which is a completely different story, ha ha, so as a driver you are not allowed to stay in your cabin, in contrast to passenger car transport. Here is a short impression of how I rode onto the train at the time, if the link can remain for a while, I don't want to hijack any viewers or something like that. that is not the intention, but this gives a different view of transport through the tunnel from Folkesone to Calais and vice versa. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pmd2w9SYqtbJeM4.html
Just wondering what i’d need to bring with me just so i don’t get stuck at the border crossing

I believe so, but please dbl-check with EuroTunnel when booking.
I'm curious on what you do when you get on the train. Do you just sit in your car for the duration of the journey?
@londonwalker3362
3 ай бұрын
I think most people (including me) just stay in their cars, but you can use the toilet facility or stand outside your car if you want. As it takes only half an hour for crossing and you should immediately drive out once you arrive, you wouldn't find anything else to do really. :)
Of course this will all change in October 2024

Not sure tbh. Eurotunnel price really varies depending on when to book and depart.

Depends on which. We have just compared both for our holiday and both were around £120, but that is dependant on what times you book and how far in advance.
