Fun watch Hollie! My wife is from Springfield and we have been there many, many times. Including BassPro Shop... we've watched it grow over the years to the amazing experience it now is. BassPro also purchased Cabela's and so is now probably the largest store of it's type in the US. By the way, you are in America and it is OK to show their firearms and hunting sections. 😀 If you get the chance, head south to Branson and the lake areas. My wife's family has a place on Bull Shoals Lake where we have had some wonderful times fishin', huntin' and visitin'! Also, thanks again for not wearing a hat.... you are a beautiful girl and we love your acapella smile! Thanks again. Judy & Richard W, Utah

Thanks for hanging out at CTO this weekend and spending some time watching us sit on a hill and wait for parts / helpers. Johnny Morris is a big part of the community here with a lot of awesome properties / business ventures. Our Bass Pro may not be the largest, but its the original. Over by that grotto/elevators they have ducks that learned how to feed the fish. And they have Tracker Boats in Ozark. And if you are doing Route 66 and in St. Louis , you need to go to Ted Drewe's frozen custard. Springfield is the birthplace of Route 66. Johnny Morris' dad owned the Brown Derby's and said he could start his bass fishing lures at that one nearby.

Signs on a highway are there to "Keep traffic moving". To do this, you help people find popular and/or necessary locations. No one needs to stop and ask where the nearest gas station is, there are signs. If a store is so popular that people getting lost trying to find it would cause traffic to build up, then a sign is what is required. McDonalds has them and you didn't question that. Hospitals also have them for the same reason. Help travelers find help they may need and getting lost might cause unnecessary delays in care.

If want to see one of the biggest turtles ever. Go to the Aquarium in Jenks Oklahoma They had a turtle it a tank there, a few years ago at least, that had a head the size of an American football. At first when I was looking in the tank I saw a smaller turtle resting on a log in the water at the top. I saw these boulders at the bottom and up the side then I looked closer and saw that one of the boulders was a huge turtle.

Scottish diabetic lady, not long out of A&E for out of control diabetes, decides to try out sugary American fast food confection, Creme Anglais (custard), loaded with spoonfees and spoonfees of sugar(US: High-fructose corn syrup). What could possibly go wrong there? I grew up watching Animal Magic, presented by Johnny Morris, in the 1960s &70s. The then BBC's notion of what a zoo keeper was, with Johnny doing the voices of the zoo creatures he interacted with for the entertainment of us kids. Later revisited by Ardman animation as 'Creature Comforts'. I had no idea he was also involved with retailing hunting shooting & fishing gear in the US. You put me in mind there of Billy Connolly's account of swimming in a shark infested sea, getting the fright of his life when he turned around and caught the glimpse of his own flipper! Btw my understanding is that there's reputedly more self identifying Scots like you, living in the US, than there are living in Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🤓 Just saying 😉
