European Hornets Nest Inside Tree - Squirrel Eats Larvae - Wasp Nest Removal

#HornetKing deals with a HUGE European Hornets Nest inside of an old dead and rotting pine tree. The homeowners were becoming concerned with the hornets that were intrusive throughout their property during the day, and attracted to their inside and outside lights at night time. One night, the homeowners wife and children were too afraid to come inside through the front door because there was a swarm of hornets around their porch light and windows! So 2 different exterminators came out to find the nest and couldnt locate it before the home owner called me, and I came out and located the nest within 15 minutes!
Once cutting into the tree, it became very apparent that this tree was rotten all the way through and was a safety issue, knowing it could come down at any moment. I was hoping to extract the nest out of the tree before the calamity, but unfortunately, the tree was just too weak and fell before I could get it out. I was able to salvage a few queens and males for release at my property, and grabbed as many comb as I could to feed to my chickens, Squirrel, Opossums, and new chicks!
Introducing: Humphrey the Squirrel; Ducky the black chicken; Amber the yellow chicken; Anne the Opossum, and her sister Margaret the Opossum!
I hope you guys enjoyed this video of wide array of critters and excitement!
If you guys would like to support my channel, feel free to head over to my link for my crowdfunding campaign! Thank you all who have donated so far! You guys are so awesome!

Chickens look so scruffy when they're young, it's hilarious. It also amazes me how dramatically their vocal sounds change when they become adults. It goes from peep peep to the unique sounds that the adults make. It's almost like a young child suddenly getting the voice of a grandma that's smoked too many cigarettes. Quite fascinating.

@White Marlin This, unfortunately, is not limited to just rehabbed animals. Fully domesticated animals can react similarly and it's due in part that babies and young children don't know how to react to animals in a non-threatening and gentle manner, so sometimes the animal can react aggressively. It's not really the kids fault, they don't know better at that point and it's not necessarily the animals fault either, they will merely react to the situation. That's why it's important when you have kids and animals in the same house, you need to have the kids taught how to treat, understand and respect animals. Because even the most tame and sweet animal can react violently when threatened, or hurt. I mean, my sister has a husky. Sweetest dog ever, grew up around kids of all ages ever she had them. And when the grand babies were born, he would lick on them and cuddle with them all the time. Once they were old enough to walk and play, they would swat at him and be kind of rough with him. One day, they were running around and fell on him hard and he growled and nipped at them(didn't nip them, just at them as a warning). So, after this, we made sure to teach them how to be respectful and gentle with animals so this wouldn't be an issue or become a worse situation. I'm very sorry for their misfortune and loss and I hope they get through it.

I love European Hornets. Especially when they're dead. I must ask, what brand of bee suit are you using? I would think those b*stards could punch right through a normal sting suit. And congrats on over a quarter million subscribers. This channel is legit.

I’m a new subscriber in the last couple of weeks - purely because I have a ground wasps nest in my garden (UK) which doesn’t need removing I found out. I immediately fell in love with your videos because of your very obvious compassionate nature. I had only just got to know your love for three hens who I had absolutely no idea even eat larvae and was horrified the first time you fed them to your girls! Then came your sad news and your tribute film which left me in bits as if I was the owner. I loved your clip showing your new suit and now this one which I absolutely adore because right at the end you show two little cuties and they both share my name. Thank you for sharing your adventures and keep them coming. PS I’m now also hooked on beekeeping videos and think that bees are even more amazing than wasps :)

I was watching this video and you had me smiling from ear to ear. After hurricane Isabel hit in September 2003 I found a baby squirrel that must have been blown out of the nest. He was so tiny and had no hair except his muzzle. I fed him around the clock every two hours. He would hide in my dad’s shirt pocket. We kept him all winter and when springtime hit the next year we released him. He would come to our back door and knock on the glass waiting for his treat of peanuts. He came back for several years and then he disappeared not coming back to my house. He was a joy to watch grow and it was a sad day when he was released to nature.
