    Well, actually yes. It's their ass on the line if the team lose a match, or god forbid a series of matches. They don't want to get fired and ruin their careers because grown ass men can't remember few simple instructions.

    Anyone thats played sports and has had to deal with other players being selfish likes a strict coach. Any player that wants to pad their stats by taking wild threes and then expects the rest of the team to rebound hates strict coaches because then they get benched. Its all relative to what kind of player you are

    Balkan anger is fatherly anger..just do ur best.. thats it. In timeout stfu as a player...disrespecting the coach is a big thing in balkan basketball.. And... its an adault pro sports..even kids 10-14 y old could take it in yugoslavia.. Just do ur best and fight for every posession.. Players like luka doncic are rare...otgers must train hard 3 times per day... 1500 shots made per day for ur body and position.

    @@imulippo5245 we don't always behave like this, if we did we'd all be dead at 40 from hypertension/aneurysm. Society here in Serbia is actually really great, I've lived here and in America and Germany and I feel the safest and most at ease here. Apart from low pay society here operates very well.

Haven’t you notice how the NBA players especially the stars nowadays think they’re above the coaches let alone the whole organization/franchise? These guys wouldn’t last a week in Europe no matter how good they are, they still gotta follow the system and make the right play in order for them to win

I’ve developed several NBA and European Pro’s in the last decade. Earlier in my career I was a yeller and humiliated players. I realized it’s pointless after a while. That’s not coaching, that’s boosting the coaches superiority complex. Talk to men in sports the same way you’d talk to men on the street.

Coaches need to have open mindedness and understand a player may come through that’s just flat out better than your system and u may need to put ya system to the side. As a coach you SHOULD CALL THAT SHOT.and don’t think much about it

    Lebron would be x2 the player he is now under these coaches like Obradovic for example. Missing to score is a sin for them. MJ would never be even considered a GOAT if you combine Lebron and someone like these coaches. They want 100% from everyone. Lebron is wasted potential. Look at MJ. He was crazy himself and pushed his team like these coaches do. He still remains the GOAT. These coaches pull the best out of players. Players want to show them they are good abd fight for a spot in a team. And team is what matters in basketball, not individuals. Just look at Harden lol.
