The first hotel is really special, it would be even better if the bathrooms are connected together! I'm curious where the front desk and waiters are at the hotel? Are there any other service facilities? Is there no restaurant? The second room is also very special, it would be better if the bed is longer for you! It’s my first time to see this country and its people, which is really great. Thank you very much for sharing! 👍🥰🙏 P. S. Those cute things are Tetrapods, also known as protective blocks or dolosses, which are used to absorb the impact of waves or heavy water to protect coasts or riverbanks. The wave absorbing block was first invented by the French in 1950. When the patent protection period expired, it became popular all over the world.
Beautiful and unique hotel, Ben. Katarina will really like staying there with you, maybe in spring, or better yet, summer where you can go down to the beach. The winter is very beautiful in the woods too! 😊
What a really interesting video, Ben. Thoroughly enjoyable and Carlos was a great guide. Kat will love going to the mirror hotel next year. I'm in New England.
Greetings from Latvia. When in Riga, find Ala pagrabs in the old town, you can try some traditional cuisine and sometimes usually on weekends you get some musicians, often folk themed. But you did have a friend and he probably already knows about all the best spots. The van camping was a surprise, did not even know we have something like that. I have seen a van like that in other European towns near hotels for rent, so the idea is not new, but this is done with style. Bald would like the beach, the reason it looks like that, it used to be a military port in Soviet times, the whole town was military with curfews and restrictions. The forts used to be in some places even in water, because the water took most of them. In the 90s you would see more of the old buildings, but these days most of them are not nice or demolished. We got a lot of beautiful beaches with stones in the water and old cities like Kuldīga, but when it comes to the weirdest and industrial sort of places, it was a place to see.
I loved, loved this video! Really nice to see you enjoying yourself and checking out unusual places to stay that aren't s**tholes! Even though I enjoyed the suffering bus rides, etc, it's great to see this! Thanks Ben.

That is a cool cabin. Thanks for posting.
Watching from Queensland, & Cyclone Jasper that made landfall today. This was absolutely Brilliant! Love the first hotel, the van one was good too. Paris looked so depressing, I was there in 81' & it was awesome, so sad to see looking like this in 2023. Always enjoy your adventures Ben, Best Wishes to Kat too👍❤
That's epic. Second place was very cool too! Brilliant idea. What a legend Carlos is bringing meds for you.
Great video, mate. Really want to travel along the Baltic Sea countries. This has really given me a motivational boost.

Good morning, Benjamin! I do hope you go back to that lovely hotel with beautiful Katarina!
That's beautiful, definitely on my list!
O man so awesome, beginning with this out off the way glass place, cant beat it, so i thought. You than move on to that van park neighbourhood, super, great concept. Yeah the Baltic sea is cold, my sister inlaw hails from there, Riga. Again great explore findings. Always the best, Cheers.
I'm in the countryside of Alabama, USA watching your video where it's much warmer! Cheers mate
An interesting video Ben, I enjoyed watching it.
Been to Estonia, loved it! The old town was dreamy. Great folks, good lookin’ too.
Oh nooo.. The video ended we did not get to see Ben in the morning... 🙃🤪 Looks like you enjoy the cold weather more, maybe you should have spent the night in one of those bunkers... listning to the sea... Great video as always. 👍

2 mins in and I absolutely love the place .. 4 mins in I’m thinking wow… 6 mins in and all I can think is there’s someone missing ❤ In 1975 up to 1990 Paignton was the best day out on a sunny Sunday afternoon
Got to be honest, that's a freaking sweet looking pad. The snow just makes it perfect.

Nice video and a very nice invisible hotel. Although I think that you'd appreciate a Finn to guide you to properly use that sauna.
How pis'd off is Kat that had to stay in such shi*ty places like the room with the feces on the wall and she misses out on this incredible place😮😂❤

I never experienced such quietness like in an Estonian Forrest. Greetings from Bremen, Germany. Come over and I show you around here.
Place is incredible!!!
Only good thing about a winter environment you can put warm beer outside in the snow and it will be cold in 15 months.
Good guy taking you around. You. Red to carry a stomach kit on your travels. Imodium or something and definitely Charcoal Pills when you have a stomach bug that won’t go away. Take care Ben 😊😊😊
Imaging the fun you can have on that bed, invisible… until you turn the lights on 😂
That was cool! It seems like every moment feels like a whimsical adventure in the world of disappearing luxury. Are there any wolves lurking around the area?
That camper van hotel rocks mate❤ Deffo gonna go there when in Riga..what's it called again?
Hotel in Estonia looked wicked not so much the camper van..❤
Katerina needs to have a serious word wi you 😂 lollll! Looks absolutely amazin! I wouldnt want to leave there lol

well this is not some exclusive forest experience as you would find it in western Europe, where there are a few trees between fields and cities. In estonia there are a few fields and cities between the forests. Honestly I guess it is a luxury in the modern world.
Estonia looks like my backyard, all snow covered fir and pine trees.
You should watch a hockey game in Latvia. They have decent teams
Wow that is soooo cool man, gorgeous, just missing Kat !
Amazing room
Interesting content. Keep up the good work on your channel. Regards, WR4K.
Those weird cement things next to the pair that you were on The are old anti tank defenses But lots of places have found new uses for them
I didn't realize you were from Paignton..i used to live at the Greebys...small world!
Amazing experience, stay in this unique hotel and you are in the middle of nowhere , you are so brave😂
Hmm go to Alaska. If you want to see an adventure

@@BackpackerBenJudging by the tone of your answer I'm positive a lot more went on between you and Kat than you have admitted to the rest of us. You are a sly devil Ben... 😈
Just thinking of that quiet compared to the chaos and noise of most cities you visit 😂😂😂😂
My first comment has been blocked, so horrible!
Estonian hotel my fav, but latvias set up was pretty cool! Such a Ben thing to have a subscriber bring you shit medicine 😂😂😂 haha another cracker loved this adventure 😊
So Ben was your van by the river? If you don’t understand it was a Chris Farley sketch on Saturday night live.
Has Bald been to that part of Latvia? Yesh, Cat would have loved that. Treat her damn it :)
they are called mirror or mirrored windows
There are special glasses that see through that glass
New York city is here!!
Greetings from Belize C. A mate

Shout outs the Wim Hoff method. It really works

Starting to think this is the reason 😂
You always have the runs. And beans are non-soluable fibers, which means it helps thicken bowels. You might want to go to docs and see why you always have watery stools. Prolly IBS(irritable bowel syndrome).
Went to france on a school trip and we visited the sies, i took a photo of the tower and was promptly threatened with a mavchine gun at 13 years old it was eye openning to say the least lol
This place looks amazing. But it’s missing something. The tranquil sounds of the music on the bus in Timor-Leste.

You should have been camping with the Portugese lady. Immaculate accommodation…
what soap do you use because I've never seen hair that dries so quickly, just like you haven't been in a sauna at all
Imagine getting to see a beautiful, snowy forest whilst taking a dump without having to use Google Images.
What! No snow angel after the sauna?
Wow you send Catarina home and then stay at a place like this. Bet she never going to let you forget it.
Latvia, Riga
How much was that a night and where is it Ben
Looks a great trip Ben, Another one for my list 😎✈️
Hopefully, you threw water on the sauna stove because it's the proper way in Estonia and the Nordic countries, and that way you get the full experience.
Man, you should have treated Catarina with this beautiful resting spot. Hope you’re true to your word and take her here. Safe travels mate!👍🏻

Those are some big paw prints in the snow - large dog, perhaps? Great place, too bad Kat could not be with you.
