(Hint: the symbol of the fasces and the falange represents that idea) And on the war against the Nazis, keep in mind that when he founded the BUF, the memory of the men who sacrificed themselves in the Great War was still in his mind, along with the minds of many other British citizens. The last thing he wanted was Britain being involved in another war and having men die fighting their brethren, and then have them come back to be betrayed by the politicians who run their country.

War's usually happen because of a variety of reasons but to dumb things down for the general public we paint our enemy's as evil in person and us as the heroic saviors. Same thing with Germany in ww1. Or Napoleon and great britian. The US and GB were the first country's to say: "We are the best and you must obey us" When Germany started to beat GB in economy and overall military and influence in Europe.. They just waited for a conflict to emerge and destroy Germany. What about the eastern parts of Germany who all voted to be still part of Germany after ww1? Same thing with Austria.. They voted 98% to be part of Germany after they Lost but the allies didn't wanted that because the whole reason for the war was to bring Germany down. Although I agree that the Nazis did evil things you have to look at the time.. Extreme times don't create ordinary governments. The Nazis gave the Germans hope and strength back.. Yes more extreme but also greater than ever before. The Germans lived in the most equal society on earth because Germans were Germans and had the same right.. They were building Germany up again to former and even greater glory. The issue was that the other German regions that were stolen from us after ww1 wanted to be back in the Reich.. The Nazis tried to settle that peacefully.. And when I say peacefully I mean that don't start a major conflict. That worked out with Austria and even the Sudetenland and later the Czech Republic and Slovakia.. Because they were a crippling state from the start. The issue with Poland was going well.. Both sides had food arguments for Danzig.. 90% were German in the city but without the city Poland would loose access to the see. As Hitler said himself in many speeches: They would have settled this peacefully but after GB gave Poland their full support in case of war.. The Poles stopped negotiations big time.. Because the most powerful country had their back. Same situation.. GB wanted a chance to declare war on Germany. And even though the Nazis tried negotiations they had no fear to wage war. After France had fallen Hitler offered GB many peace treaty's because the Nazis were only interested in destroying the soviet union.. The anti Christian communist super state that all Europeans hated.. And actually joined the Nazis in their "Crusade" against communism.
