Exactly right. A 78 year old judge from Ohio, appointed by Bill Clinton, made this decision for us.

Places like Eugene, Portland, Seattle just keep voting for the same people and wonder why things only get worse.

What re you talking about? I just went onto a realtor website and found tons of nice apartments (pics included) for as little as $900/month for a ~1ksqft 2bed apartment.

So glad I moved out of cottage grove.. the entire state is a crap hole.

And instead of blaming the companies who decide to lay off their work forces so they can make a percentage of a percentage over their last quarter's profit margin, or that most of us are just one medical emergency away from homelessness, or that mental health services have been scrapped, but this is decay. I was just there, literally just there and this is the outlier.

Seriously? Portland has done extensive studies on homeless 3/4 are drug addicts who have no interest in anything else, basically legalizing drugs only made things worse as the state basically acknowledged this year. Of the 1/4 or so that are not drug addicts the majority are mentally ill and they are on the streets because of liberal pushed laws decades ago to shut down facilities for these people and we can see how that turned out. All the problems the left complain about exist almost exclusively in areas the left run and leftist policies to solve these issues only make them worse but like true children the left refuse to take responsibility and mock the issue.

This is what poverty looks like in America...it is a policy choice that we have made, to allow this. If you visit countries in Europe, you don't see this kind of thing. First World countries provide food and housing and medical support to their people, so they do not have to live in cardboard boxes on their streets. We could too...but our Republicans will vote against it.

Lol, only in Dem run areas do you get these issues. You apparently either have not visited Europe recently or stayed in your hotel because Western Europe, the leftist part, is a mess, homeless, crime, filth everywhere. Go over to conservative Eastern Europe and its clean and nice.

I also studied photography so that may underlie my objection to the tik tokers using portrait view to share the scene, skit or whatever. Never been on tik tok, never will ... I avoid YT shorts and all content using that narrow view, it's just not realistic...
