Great detailed review Brett. Love you showing all the features and setup of the base and cameras. Love the ability to add your own hard drive to the base and the solar feature of the camera. No more getting on a ladder to remove the camera to charge the battery. 4k is another great feature and the detail of the picture at night is a big plus for a security camera. I always loved that Eufy has the storage done locally. I'd go nuts if I was having to pay monthly to access my own clips on a different server. I'm truly a fan of their products!

Great review of the new Eufy 3. The features I personally love, is that it comes with a solar panel in the cameras themselves in order to charge the batteries and of course the 4K resolution. The fact that I don’t have to constantly remove batteries in order to charge them myself it’s huge for me, very convenient and it saves time. 4K resolution it’s a big deal, since it’ll mostly be used as an outside security camera. Being able to see detail information on security video recordings it’s crucial. With all the extra features Eufy 3 comes with, it def makes this product a very well rounded security camera. Thanks again @Tech With Brett for yet another amazing work. I watch your tech videos and product reviews all te time. Because of you, I’ve had purchased a lot of tech gadgets for my home inside and out. As a father of 4, I try to make my home as safe as possible and your videos help me a ton. Keep up good work 👍🏻

Always very good tech reviews. Keep up the good work Brett! My favorite feature is that the system recognizes people and also a big plus is that the base station can accept a hard drive. And even better, eufy doesn't require you to have a monthly subscription so that all the camera's options can work. I have three suggestions for eufy and maybe you can pass it on to the eufy development team. 1. With the next new version of the base station an HDMI option so that you can connect it to a screen or TV. (Operation on the screen or TV can then be done with a special eufy remote or wireless mouse) 2. Further develop the app so that it can also be downloaded on the Google Chrome TV and on the Amazon Fire stick. 3. On a person/vehicle/pet detection, the base station chimes so that even if your phone is not around you can get a notification that something has been detected. (With options to enable/disable the feature in the app or scenes) Even nicer when the base station talks and says "person detected at the driveway" Top eufy and Brett! Keep up the good work guys 🙏🏽👌🏽

I think I finally found the security cameras that I’ve been looking for. The integrated solar panel makes it look clean and the ability to expand the storage of the hub is a plus. I’ve never had the need for cameras, but ever since they started stealing cars in my neighborhood the past 2 weeks I’ve been looking at different camera systems. I think you may have convinced me on these.

I just moved into a new house and have been looking into installing cameras for security purposes. I was dreading having to figure out how to run a USB cable to the cameras so this built in solar takes care of that problem. Love that it's also 4K!

I love that you can add your own massive storage to the base station!

Great review of the Eufy 3. Ring cameras no longer function as they advertised and use to perform. Eufy has out performed Ring by a li g shot. Love the quality of images, the internal storage, solar battery charging that actually works, love the size of camera more discrete. Many setting options that other cams don’t have. Way to go Eufy. The favorite feature with the Eufy cam 3 as I have come across so far is not just one thing. The first is the color night vision. The second is individual built in solar panel. 2 hours of direct sunlight a day keeps the battery charged for life of the battery.

I have been using Arlo for about 5 years. Now it is costing $21.97/month. Batteries only stay charged for about 3 months so I have to climb a ladder and exchange them. I like the Eufy system, especially the solar charging and hard drive storage. Great set up video. Thanks for the information.

Great review Brett. For me, Eufy is right at the top in the list of wireless security cameras. The best feature is definitely the solar panel integration and expandable memory. I recently moved into new home and these cameras will be a great addition.

Great indepth review. Thank you for the walkthrough. I'm excited for Eufys 4k quality on solar cams and its ability to save everything locally. I'm currently a Google Nest cam user and local just seems to load faster and the quality looks way better than what Google is currently offering, additionally wanting cams and sensors all in one since Google got out of that area a few years ago.

I'm in the process of building my first home which is so exciting but at the same time daunting. When it comes to security there is so much out there but it seems Eufy is the only brand with true self monitoring. I don't see why I should pay someone to monitor when A.l. has come so far. Well done on eufy for capitalising on this and keep going 👍🏻. Definitely the brand I will go with for all my security 👌🏻

So excited on what eufy has done so far, I already have several cameras in my home. Really excited about the built in solar panel and expandable storage and bionic AI as well.

Favourite feature for me is the solar panels, it means i can place it somewhere where I dont need to run power the camera - it will solve one of the reasons why I've been uhming and arring about installing a camera at the location I wanted.

Curious on overall range of the camera. I have an office building I would like to use them at but it is rather large and my old cameras "blink" in and out all the time.

I love how the battery power is incorporated with the solar power. If you don't get solar power for a day or two once you do it will charge the batteries back up.

When the update rolls out for Dual Cam battery support on HB3, will the HB3 serve as a doorbell chime just like the HB2?

I really like this camera and 4K resolution. The local storage and no monthly subscriptions. I wish Canadians had a 3 camera option kit like the US. Now we need a 4K doorbell that is compatible with HomeBase 3.

I brought this product yesterday it's working well some when I get close to the camera with my phone it makes a static sound when I m talking though the mic an it be great if the ai when it recognizes a familiar face it doesn't see notifications to my phone but hopefully an up date in the future it could do that an I own a big property 950 square meters an no matter where I took the camera it didn't lose any signal bars what I was really impressed but it would of been great to get a hard drive with it I brought the 4 camera pack but I m really happy over all I rate this 9 out of 10 😊

I truly like everything about those cameras, but the fact that they’re wireless and solar powered is the best feature.

Nice video, Brett. They're expensive, but might have to "gift" a couple of my cameras to make room for a couple of these.

Hi Brett. When motion is triggered and a familiar face is captured does it tell you for example “ dad is seen In the garage “ or “ mom is In the kitchen “ I set mine up and added 11 familiar faces and it still just says “ someone has been seen “ . Is there a setting I missed ?

The best feature is definitely the solar panel, being that I don't want to run lines.. Adding your own hard drive for local storage is a great feature

Do the cameras use a wifi network directly thru the base, or is it connecting to the base thru the home wifi/wifi network of our choice? I want to put the base in the network closet and create its own VLAN on the network.

Silly question but is 120 seconds of recorded video enough? What if there's an incident happening outside and it cuts out just when I needed it to be recording? Thanks for the video. Can cameras be disabled/enabled, ideally via Alexa and in the app? I want to get a notification when cameras detect movement, but only when I am not at home. So when I get home, I disable the cameras via Alexa and they stop detecting movement and sending me notifications until I enable them again by saying something like "Alexa, switch on the cameras". Does it make sense? Thank you.

Currently trying to decide between sticking with my Ring devices or transitioning to Eufy. Found your channel and must say these reviews have been a huge help. I love the solar charging feature on the Eufy cams being built in and not requiring additional wiring or a big bulky panel. Thanks Brett!

I’m in the same boat. But beyond recording resolution & these solar-enabled cams; I’m not sure that Eufy > Ring. Eufy’s wired doorbells don’t work with their newest Homebase 3 (mentioned in this video). And I read many negative reviews regarding missed alerts, glitches in the app, connectivity issues, etc. Eufy has also made the decision NOT to integrate with homekit and/or homekit secure video going forward - this is also a considerable negative for me. There aren’t any perfect solutions as of this writing but for the time being, I think Ring is still the best all-around system.

About to buy this camera, but wondering how they will cope with those 42°C summer days.

How can I reduce False alarms by 'not alerting' my phone nor recording 'Known' or "Familiar faces" and my 'Pet' (dog). I don't need my family and dog recorded, just Strangers and unknown vehicles and wildlife. is there a setting that I can adjust so I do not drain my phone battery as often and waste Homebase storage. I thought that BionicMind Edge was supposed to filter out Recognised people and pets.....

Is there anyway i can connect my new eufy camera s30 with my homebase eufy2?? Its has been costly already to update camera eufy 3 but wasn't aware that i needed to purchase homebase 3 as well?? Is there any loops hole or other ways to connected my eufy cam 3 to homebase 2 please?? Thank you

Love my Eufy S40’s, their only problem is reflections in the pool being detected as motion… this is something not really acceptable in 2023… wondering if some progress has been made on the EufyCam 3 ??

4K, solar power, and adding a hard drive directly to the base station are all great features!

Great features, however it is a relatively expensive solution. AUD1300 for 2 cameras and base station is up there, AUD2000 for 4 Cams and the base. Maybe by next Black Friday sales Eufy have sorted their normal pricing.

dose the Eufy app allow you to view away from your home , not on your local network ?

I really like the solar panel integration and the ssd storage option the most. I would love to try this out. I currently have ring cameras but constantly charging the batteries is exhausting. I notice Eufy is way more innovative with their products compared to ring.

Can you delete the footage from the hard drive and how many months of standard recording will the 1T drive hold.
