Great Video. My only question is, when someone rings the doorbell can you have a conversation with that person thru the phone app??

13:26 Perhaps you can put a piece of metal taped to part of the infrared sensor that lights that right side.

Hey how well does it work with Google home Does it chime through the Google minis around the house??

I read somewhere that the S330 detects if the door is open and will not lock if autolock is on. E330 doesn't do this hence I got the S330. Can you confirm this? This was the only reason why I buy the S330 over the E330.

Does this connect to the eufy Homebase 3?

Do you need to be close to the door to unlock it with your phone? Like if you at work and you have a package can you unlock it for them?

Help !! The doorbell button came off, would the doorbell still work or not. I haven't installed my smart lock yet 😞

I have extremely bright motion lights that come on at night as someone approaches my property so that will not be an issue at night.

Excellent thorough review! My only question is with a 10000Mah battery, does that last 4 months w/o having to charge, 6 months or longer?

It really depends on how much use it gets. It’ll last at least 4-6 months without charge.

can anyone confirm if the usb c port at the front unit chargers the battery instead just use for emergency power? i found removing the battery for 6 to 7 hours to charge is inconvenient.

It won’t charge the battery. It only allows you to use the lock if the battery is dead.

If you closed the door during the night test, you would have lightened the background and show more detail. Overall great review with clean presentation.

I still have my nest doorbell installed just because it's a better camera 😂 I just like that eufy notifys me better

Luckily, Eufy did an update to turn off a feature in night mode for the door frame problem, and night mode works way better.

Great video! Thank you! Would love to see a demo on how you lock the door from the outside? Do you punch a button on the keypad? Use the keyhole or the fingerprint sensor?

I'm curious about using this for an office. I read you can store up to 100 passcodes and 50 fingerprints. I would want to be able to track who came in and at what time. I know I could technique just see on the videos who came in and at what time. Any thoughts on using this for a business?

I guess it depends on how many employees you have. If you have less than 100 then sure, I'd be curious how much battery life it sucks down by being used so often. You might look at one of their other locks without the camera unless you need that functionality.

Can you have a two-way communication through Amazon Echo Show? Can it be lock and unlock through Amazon Echo voice command

The door doesn't lock by itself, Has anyone had this issue with there Eufy 3 in1 Video Smart Lock ? The blue motion lights do not come on very often 🤔 "Has anyone run into the same problem" And if you did how did you Fix this issue ?

One thing I have wonder with these smart locks. With doors that have a little slop and you need to either pull or push a little to get the deadbolt to lock, these smart locks would likely just get hung up. I think maybe a deadbolt with some angled edges at the tip would account for this.

You should always adjust your door so there is no slop.

@@DIYReid It's the frame which came with the door and or the seal, might be able to change to a thinner weather seal strip so not as much resistance.

The product looks great, but the camera quality was really not good enough.

Can you add codes and cancel codes remotely?

See I feel you guys are not reviwing this camera as you should in giving people an accurate viewing of something at the door and if the camera actually gets a head shot so you can identify who was at your front door that. Not everyone will have someone walk up to their door, they are in an apartment setup where people walk down a walkway hallway if you will close to the building less then a couple of feet away when the arrive at your front door and I want to know if I will get a full image of anyone at my door or entering my doorway? I noticed you showed in this video a picture I though answered that question in the affirmative, only to notice you also left the front door open which then meant the camera/lock was further away then when it is closed and then the position of the camer wouldn't even be facing the front door so that picture can't even be accurate!'s. Common!

I've seen a lot of complaints about the video only recording about 2 minutes at a time and that one cannot directly download video to a laptop due to encryption. Have you had issues with this? This seems like a huge drawback to me.

No I have not. I got the sample videos by downloading them.

...and it's opened in seconds with a simple bump-key! 🤣😂

Oh no really? Well I guess it's no worse than having a deadbolt then but it does incorporate a camera so you might get them on video if the cameras FOV can capture any video of the person trying to break in that close to the door???????

Yeah, that key lock is a major flaw. Shame they don't make them with an anti-bump/snap/drill/pick cylinder.

@@AndSheDoesItAgain Put some glue in the key whole then! Besides anyone at the door is on camera too. It's actually a door bell, so how's someone going to know it can be moved and a key entry is there.

Does it include a speaker and microphone to talk to a person outside?
