Great video! FYI, if you turn camera off in eufy app-settings the camera will tilt all the way up allowing access to the sd card. I figured that out after manually moving it up to access :)

After you have panned and tilted the camera through App, can the camera go back to the original position automatically? Can it be connected on two iphones with one account at the same time? Thanks!

I have bought 3of them so far and plan to buy more and the Eufy 2K Resolution and on - Device AI finely works with Apple Home Kit because that is what the box says on the last Eufy 2K camera system I bought. Just wanted to let you and other's know that.

At the very least I wish camera companies would have a black and white option. This way if I wanted to be a little stealthy with my placement I could be. Over all it is a great camera. I think I might have to start looking at more eufy cameras over Wyze now.

One can hope but sometimes like with outdoor cameras if you want them to be visible so people stay away. I'm currently testing the eufy outdoor solar Spotlight camera. But also do have a Darkrai eufy robovac currently being tested as well.

Did you format the card when you placed it in the camera? eufy out of the box is set to record 24/7 and send you notification for clips when it detects motion.

@@Wanderer001_Reviews Hi. I’m sorry for not getting back right away. Yes, I formatted it correctly and it’s been capturing motion and recording it fine for over a year. So it records fine and there is 89% available space but I can’t seem to get continuous recording to work on either of them. I’ve tried “recording 24hr and I’ve tried setting a schedule but nothing. I have to be doing something wrong. But thanks for trying to help. BTW, I have 2 Wyze cams, both wired and supposedly able to record continuously that I can’t seem to make work either. It has to be me!

They have some preset options that let you quickly change between them when you're home or away. In the case of this camera a setting that can be set for when you're home is to turn the camera off or tell it to stop recording. But when you go to away mode it turns on and will record motion or triggered events as you set.

Just setup 2d ago, this cam sometimes assleep when it's suppose to follow my move. If it does, it starts from where I am and STOPS when I'm in front of it as I walk to its left. Then it'll resume when I'm in front of it going to the right. Ain't video from front to left, oftentimes. Returning...

I did not actually say the max SD card size in this video. I do put that information in my videos now. But the max SD card size for this camera is 128GB.

I took out SD card and put in computor for opening clips but not opening but in camera 2 minutes recording clips I can see why it is not opening in computer?

eufy encrypts the sd card so it can only be used in the camera via the app. It is meant to be a safty feature.

Is it possible to set the default camera position to point backwards? Would be ideal for privacy reason, since the camera does not have a cover on it (like competitors)

The defualt positions is always going to be what the cameras Zero start point is. So that is front and center for the camera. You can flip the camera the other way so it faces away from what you want it to see then set postions for it to move to facing front to record what is going on. Not great but an option.

Is it possible to set the record function to be triggered when movement is detected? And if not how long would a micro card 64k last please

So you are looking for something like it only records to the SD card if there is motion detected? Rather then have it recording all the time and send you alert notification when it sees movement.

Is there a way to delete days all together not picking the time & date. My cam is recording every 2 minutes while I'm away. It's over kill to delete

Are you trying to send you a notice or deter what caused the motion on the camera while you are away. You might be able to use the pet command to have a recorded sound or verbeal warning play when motion is detected.

Can you use this without the power cable connected to an outlet?

It needs to be powered in order to use. That power can come from a battery back, solar generator or wall outlet. But there needs to be something giving it power.

Just like you would the first. They are stand alone cameras and talke to the app. You would setup each as its own camera, an then click on the one that you wanted to view after that.

Yes as long as your phone has a data connection and there's power at your house you can view the video feed from anywhere.

Which exact model is this? I am looking at the S220 Model T8410X, you did not mention anything about storing on the homebase 3? If my research is correct, you can store locally on the HB3 rather than the sd card, right?

At this time this camera is not supported by the Homebase 3. So yo uwill need to use an SD card with it. It could make as a pretty good Baby monitor with the ability to move around. cam Pro 2 is compatible with the Homebase 3.

Dubble tap the live feed, or pinch to zoom in.

So if someone or a pet enters the camera zone it will record him and send notification to your phone’s home screen or you should have to enter the app to find the notification ?

It will send you phone a notification like when you get a text or chat. You can then click on it and it will bring you into the app.

3 days without wifi connection and the camera stops to record on the sd card, 3 weeks without wifi and the camera asks to format the sd card as if it was a newly found sd card, with no option to back up or view previously recorded videos on the sd card! Horrible system for a security camera!

How about homebase storage???

@@kingpackagers8032 The clips are saved to the sd card I had in the camera. The number that I was talking about what the cameras notifications about clips that were recorded. As long as there is an sd card in the camera you will not need the cloud for it. You can always then pull the sd card out of the camera if you want to look at the recordings on a computer and not through the app.

Have seen a couple of cats, my dogs, when I am out front. And had a bee buzzing around right in front of it. It works very well. It even shows the neighbour's driveway, but only shows movement just past my own, which is very long. I highly recommend them.

Dont buy these, the support from Eufy is horrible. They force you to prove you own the product before they even help, in 2023 when companies like Apple can tell you have warranty based on a serial number you shouldn’t need to prove you have warranty with a $99 camera because you cannot pull video off the camera due to major software issues. This is the second issue, their software is horrible, you cannot pull ALL video off the camera at once, you must down load one at a time, the detection of movement is really bad. Ive had two break ins in cafes and both times NONE of the cameras detected the person getting in, they detected a car or person going past the same window earlier but a person it cannot see. This results you in scanning 6 hours of footage to find the time they broke in and due to the terrible load with encryption the footage stops and starts or the app cannot see the camera. I have 8 cams at 3 sites on 3 wifi networks all with different access points and all of them have the same issue so its not the equipment its the cameras. EUFY made good software early but as they grew their support and software went to rubbish, dont buy these devices or if you do expect ZERO support
