A combination of all the ones listed, plus one of my own: first, my own, based on another person's reasoning: form Germany (or dismantle the hre and control the 1444 borders of the hre), become the number 1 coffee producer (if not the only one), and own Caffa.

Redhawk - sets own, seemingly impossible to accomplish goals. Also redhawk : "sounds like pain, what are you gonna do"

@@ligmabouls I meant playing out the entire Thirty Years' War. Literally and temporally. So, at least 60 saves. Just imagine making a mistake in 1642 that costs you a definitive victory. Although such moments are few and far between in Europe. No, I don't play Hearts of Iron, which is ironic because I love modern history.

As Kaffa, do the Pick your Poison achievement, or produce the most coffee in the world. Or be top trader in coffee perhaps?

Having four colonial nations in South America is actually a unique achievement for Mali. _Abu Bakr II’s Ambition: Start as Mali and have 4 Colonial Subjects in South America._ So, maybe you'll get another crack at it as Mali. I tried to complete it a few months ago and I was so close to getting it, but the Spain-Portugal-England alliance just wasn't having it. I did even worse on my second try.

id imagine youd have to get really lucky and have spain and/or Portugal blow up early game to stop them colonising. or maybe rush west Africa and leverage the north africans to fuck the iberians but that seems even less likely.

12:24 - It's closer because of favorable winds that "shorten" the range, it's a bit of an underappreciated mechanic, you can see them in the colonial range screen, they are the little green arrows. (Provided you are zoomed in enough*)

Started watching your channel about a month and half ago and I don't think I've missed many uploads, keep up the good work, man

I haven't played Jolof, but I've played other western african countries. I've found it best to not manually lower autonomy, just use the centrilization edict. Way too many rebels spawn when manually lowering autonomy. After taking over half the region it becomes OK to start doing it.

I wonder if that's also worth considering for Japan, the rebels all over the place do slow down my progress (I don't go for super speed forms, I'm just happy as long as I unite the island by 1500).

I play in West Africa pretty often and the key to resisting the Iberians is putting forts in those northern desert province choke points, the highest-level forts you have available. The attrition is *murder.*

I played a campaign as Air not long ago and it is **frustrating** how the AI changes/fort changes translates to every backwater tiny African tribal nation with virtually zero income having a lvl 3 fort (or two). It doesn't make sense, it's annoying, and I hate it.
