I just did an angevin run and had to restart a bunch of times because i kept losing the war against the French. They had an entire point of morale more than I did somehow so id outnumber them and still lose the fights.

If you are not afraid of restarting few times all you need to do is to restart until burgundy rivals france and does not rival you. As long as you ally burgundy and castille/aragon depending on whitch one of them rivals france too you will not even need to fight france yourself. Start to curry favors with portugal at the game start so you can pull them into war for favors and promise land for burgundy and other stooge who agrees to ally you. All that is left is to chill in england waiting for your slav...I mean allies to finish deathwaring with france while you slap scotland if it gets pulled into war and wait for war of the roses rebels to crush them. French army usualy ends up stuck in some stupid place like naples as AI tries to go for weakest ally first and burgundy sieges them down in meanwhile, I usualy get bored and send few 8k stacks to siege forts faster but it is up to you. After wining you just tell burgundy to screw themselves and take PU without giving them anything, you can try for burgundian incheritance but they have -200 opinion towards you from land claims so not worth the trouble.

You don't have to go to war in the Maine event, just chose the option where you give it up and then you can declare war on your own terms later

AI doesn't know how to reinforce correctly so you can have an full combat width army engage with several smaller stacks waiting to reinforce, send them in one and one that way AI will lose the morale battle.

Your split of India is horrendously cursed what the fuck. Granted when I did it I took random states for Trade Centres (Mostly for Trade Company goods produced bonus, but also to steal more of the trade) so had to snake down from Bengal for Deccan because I'd already fed the coast, which also is horrid bordergore but you cut india down the middle like it's some tricolour of very slightly different shades of red.
