hilarious how Apple's changes for the DMA are better for apple than the status quo, ie Spotify's complaint about it. congrats

The EU doesn't have tech, all they do is regulate and fine.

Europe just trying to protect itself from American tech companies running amok and unchecked in Europe. Europe has standards and rules as these companies have to abide by them..

    1. EU Politicians are Green Socialists. 2. EU Parliament elections are this summer. 3. People are not happy with the current situation. 4. High Energy Prices + Green New Deal are bad. Green Tech is not there yet. 6. Russia Ukraine situation does not help them. 7. To fine big US companies can show that these EU politicians are not utterly useless. 8. It does not impact Europeans except for Stock Holders. 9. For Politicians it is win win. 10. There is a good chance that this lady will be gone in late summer from her role.

It's simple, if you want to do business in the EU, you will have to follow our rules. We don't bow to big tech. You don't like, go to Africa, go luck :)

Vestager is a career politician from Denmark. Instead of spending resources on irrelevant interventions against companies that are far more successful than the European ones, the EU should enforce the Growth and Stability Pact and issue fines to Italy, France and Spain etc. Why don't you enforce the rules designed for politicians /governments?

Spotify is a pretty successful European company. Also the US invented antitrust laws, it's a shame it has forgotten that and is instead run by corporations.

@@aesma2522 It is also insignificant. It doesn't move the needle and besides, it's a company that provides entertainment. Otherwise I agree. It is a threat to that government is getting bigger and bigger.
