ETS Train Platinum, Business Class - KL Sentral to Ipoh - Ruby Lounge, Food, Facilities, Seating
ETS which stands for Electric Train Service is an inter-city rail service operated by the Malaysian national railway operator Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad.
This is Business Class on Platinum where the train is new and latest.
It is the fastest metre gauge train service in Malaysia that currently operates along the electrified and double-tracked stretch of the West Coast Line between Gemas and Padang Besar on the Malaysia-Thai border.
The trains travel up to 145 km/h (87 mph) on an electrified metre gauge rail line. Therefore, the ETS can be classified as a Higher Speed Rail train service.

We sat in seat 12b and 12c from KL to Butterworth and stored our luggage in front of us. There isn’t enough space for the big suitcases. One toilet for both business and gold class. We couldn’t buy anything other than what was given. The screen attached to the seats had very slow internet. Ended up using my phone data

They will send it for you. No need to pick up from cafe
ETS app and you have to create an account using your passport
This is extremely informative. It doesn’t look like there’s a lot of space in the luggage rack if I have two airline 23 kg size baggage. I heard that you can buy tickets the day before travel. Is this correct? Thank you

@thomaswilke6312, yea, you are correct, not much space on the luggage rack. There are luggage space above the seat but it is for small cabin bags. You may need to consider. Yes, for Business Class seats which is under Platinum ETS train, the tickets are only shown 24 hours before departure time if you check online. You may plan your travel accordingly. @fishy3398, there is limited seats (only 32 seats) for business class and only available on Platinum trains. The Platinum trains only open for booking 24 hours before the departure time via online. You may try to book early.
