Muddstah went to a hidden monastery in the mountains, where he honed his Magic skills under the watchful eyes of his master, the legendary elder goblin monk, Mistform Ultimus. For months, he trained hard every day, even meditating under a waterfall to sharpen his mind (insert Naruto's training theme here)... and after a long time, he finally mastered the art of remembering to draw from Rhystic Study... for the most part, at least.

The ruling has caused a great deal of confusion unfortunately. If you follow the thread found here: (www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/magic-fundamentals/magic-rulings/magic-rulings-archives/312724-spine-of-ish-sah) you'll see that the ruling does not stop you from using the ability when sacrificing the Spine to other cards.

  • @DarkEinherjar

I really don't like Etrata as a commander... the fact that she needs to connect three times per opponent (and they need to have targetable creatures every time) and you need to focus a big chunk of your deck into finding ways around the shuffling effect is so... ugh. Thankfully, Peter's stealing and copying effects did such a good job in this game, he was able to be a powerful threat without ever bringing out Etrata. I'm definitely getting inspirations here for my future Dimir deck (I'm planning to use Rona).
