We shouldn't look at these people as poor. They're preserving their culture in an ever-changing world. The way they live and appecriate there customs should teach us to live life to our fullest.

These people aren't poor, they have a great community where everyone helps each other. Money is not the only thing that makes you rich. It's just because some western people measure self worth by what they have, job status, money made that they are unable to see how rich the people are. I watch these videos so that I can learn about different culture traditions and food. If you think of it as a learning experience instead of judging all people / countries by how you live and what you seem matters. More often than not my experiences the more money you have the less happier you become. Please think about what you write so that you don't hurt someone.

from minute 11:01 to 11:19 first i see the Map with the sharp detailed technical drawing city map and then i saw the Village from above. GENIUS .!!! Love it

the lady who cooked has such humility and humility brings on such a genuine, sweet, real and transparent earnest smile! totally awesome. when you walk away from them they feel happier to have served you than anything. with a more modern and possibly wealthy person one cannot surmise the very same attitude at all.

Mark, you are paving the way for the time when boundaries between countries will be dissolved, and humans will live as one big happy family. You are truly a world ambassador.

Mark I really respect💗 you and your wonderful family💗. that you go all the time in 🇪🇹Ethiopia to see everywhere around the village and you enjoy with all food. whatever they give you and you settle enjoy that 💗I love the little boy mach 💓😘💗😘

I'm Ethiopian and I enjoy watching white and Asian people reactions when they try our food. I've seen some white people in particular fall crazy in love with the food, especially the Vegans. Some of em end up eating more Ethiopian food than we do living in the diaspora

I start and end the day watching your videos-they transport me to places I’ve only dreamed of. And your kind heart and non-judgmental ways Mark are really what makes your videos so heartwarming. I’m sure Micah will grow up to be the same great person that you and Ying are. Stay healthy and smiling always!

Gotta love Mark he's probably the only guy who doesn't judge or criticise anyone he's a true and real human being. Beautiful person. Ying is very blessed.

Developed countries are responsible for harming the nature and are in filthy grip of consumerism. Really felt humbled to see these intelligent people 😊 My only wish for you all is that you never Go Hungry or thirsty 🙏

Brad Ley because of high rates of child mortality, but Ethiopians life expectancy has increased 3 fold these last 20 years

@extremedude1234 That is with North Africa added in... which is mostly arab countries. The majority of Africa is luck to break 60 years avg life span. Alot is like 55 years. If that is good to you more power to you. It is low though not "long lived". America's avg life span is brought down by the poor and ghetto parts of the country. The majority live to the 80's.

The structure of that village is absolutely fascinating. What a cool experience that must have been.
