Watch the crew skate the streets of Awassa and push down scenic Langano highways the way to Addis Ababa- home of Ethiopia Skate. This first generation of skateboarders shows what it's like to live and skate in Addis Ababa- powersliding down steep hills in the Piassa district and skating a sidewalk under Bole bridge. With over 100 active skaters and very few safe places to skate, we are planning to build Ethiopia's first public skatepark so we can have a safe place to grow and practice.
