8 years after it was done, I come back here from time to time to revisit the greatness of this video. I will probably use this song on a pole dancing performance and I am doing movement research from this video

Thats truly flattering. I always meant to vid them again, especially with what we got in season 2 & 3 but the abrupt ending of season 3 broke me :(

I dont know why it took me forever to comment on this but it is ACTUALLY FLAWLESS. Your editing is delectible and this cover of the song fits these two and the atmosphere of the show COMPLETELY. I'm so jealous. And so in love. This is stunning bb

Your video is so addictive! I'v watched it about five times in the past few days and it just portrays so perfectly the relationship between Ethan and Vanessa. I love you for emphasizing all the times they communicated through their hands rather than their words, brilliant! What you've created is truly astonishing. I wish you'd make another video for these two, I feel like I can't appreciate anyone else's work about them after this masterpiece.

OMG!!! I want her with Ethan because he always help her and he can control the dark inside her and the chemistry between them (God!!!) and he's so good but the again i want her too with Dorian that sexy tension and ugh... Dorian is so corrupted and Ethan was with the lovely Brona and that gonna be another problem in season 2 with Caliban!! For the first time in a show i don't care if there gonna be a love triangle (i tend to hate them), I want everybody to make out with each other. Penny Dreadful have woken up something dark inside of me!! LOL! PS: Amazing Editings, Really love this video!! This is my Fave video of Ethan/Vanessa... YOU ROCK GIRL!!!!!!

Despite the ending: watch it. Vanessa Ives is a beautifully tragic character that will haunt you even after the show ended. It's why the ending is so unsatisfactory, because she deserved better.
