The best couple of PD!!! Absolutelly! #Ethanessa was the heart and the soul from the original #PennyDreadful for that they even shot one episode based in their exclusive relationship!!! Eva Green & Josh Hartnett share the most amazing chemistry that i´ve ever seen!!! This edition is so good, so powerful, i love it! Thanks! ♥

The theme running through Logan’s story is about Ethan and Vanessa’s destiny. She will be consumed by Evil unless he can protect her soul. Once she succumbs to it her soul is damned. So Ethan becomes the Wolf of God to save her. That scene between them at the end, him leading her in the Pater Noster just broke me up. “Oh Ethan! I see Our Lord!” Me, bawling like a baby. 😢 John Logan is a genius storyteller

Makes me cry.... their pain, love, loss and star crossed..... loved Penny Dreadful

They so deserved each other and to be together I felt so unsatisfied they never got together it still makes me wonder

@@yellyegg6890 It’s not Logan’s theme tho. It’s all about good vs evil and destiny. Vanessa’s destiny was to succumb to the power of Satan (Dracula). Logan says we can all fall even if we fight. Ethan’s destiny was to save her soul and he did when he killed her. Like a Greek tragedy their fates are predestined and though they sensed it, they didn’t know it.

@@KL-zg7lu See S3 when Ketamay explains how he was mistaken by thinking he was the Chosen One, not Ethan. It’s all about predestination and the fate that changes, or temporarily distracts from Ethan’s purpose which is to save Vanessa’s soul. All very Greek drama structure and theme.
