As a woman, I think Ethan is a perfectly fine role model for men. He's a loving father, a supportive husband, and a great boss who treats his employees like family.

@@chesito15 it's a weird situation especially this recent few years where with the more outspoken taint like male influences its become less likely for these kids to listen to rational role models. I myself am a martial arts coach, I've competed world wide and on top of that push every day for policy and action surrounding equity for all including youth Trans rights and woman's rights in education specifically (love my job) but while I fully attempt and push to be a role model for these kids some because I don't make a million bucks a year completely ignore the fact that I'm happy and healthy. I struggled with bipolar but the story of overcoming that to be in a healthy relationship with my partner isn't interesting because I don't have a fancy car. Healthy masculinity is becoming less about what I try to be and more toxic similar to what my biological and step father were like.

@@TheoGoodman What is an easy target? Does going to the gym make you stronger in a fight? Does it make you less likely to be targeted? Nope. The reality is humans are social creatures. You can be the biggest most jacked mma heavyweight and you can be an easy target regardless. Are you a loner? You can get jumped by 10 people. Doesn't matter how big you are against a sufficiently big group. Especially if they're armed. You are a big mma champion? People expect you to be violent so some thugs jump you especifically wanting to be smacked and film it so you go down for assault. Then some other dudes from the group rob your house while you're in the slammer. You lift but you're built like a wall? A nimble trained dude will just rock you easily, because lifting weights only makes you good at lifting weights, you can still be most awkward moving block of stone of a man. Red-pilled idiots always foam at the mouth about darwinism and evolution but forget the fucking first part of the fucking axiom: "Survival of the *fittest*" -> fittest, not strongest. You know who is fittest in nature? Pigeons, rats, mosquitoes, for example. You can kill as many as you want but they are endless. Baboons and otters are weak individually but they hang out in the most murderous fucking packs in nature. People vastily underestimate how vulnerable they are to different strategies for fucking you over. You can be the strongest fucker and lose all your money and starve because you get scammed repeatedly because you're a fucking dingus. You can be really strong and still get raped by your cousin who drugs your drink at a party. Having a bigger brain will always go way farther than going to the gym.

1:12:34 - "who's to say i'm depressed. I had a very depressive feeling." >>> Being depressed isn't a one off feeling, no-one describes it like that. You were probably upset about something for a week or maybe not even that (probs a day).. DEPRESSION is like a 24/7, my life is over, i can't leave my house, big black whole, can't see a way out, why won't this end, kind of a feeling. Where your only option sometimes is medication so you even think about piecing your life back together. But these douche bags think when feeling like that, you'll pop out of bed, get your gym bag, say hi to all your bro's, go down the gym and starting pumping iron. Imagine if this guy qualified as a phychotherapist. They think they are so knowledgable because they made money and keep healthy.

@@taelormilius6245 Funny enough, i actually am. But there you go, doing as all the other internet mongloids' do. Making assumptions. Good job. The solution to feeling depressed ~ "FEELING" ~ was and always has been action. The diagnosis of depression, coupled with the prescribing of pharmaceuticals is a modern concept and fabrication. Money talks, per the usual, so those that work for organizations are pressured to make the public believe they need these solutions. They prescribe anti-depressants to mourning individuals, who recently suffered a relative death. Makes sense right? Why wouldn't they just acknowledge the idea that people die, and it is a normal process to grieve the loss? In reality, humans fluctuate emotionally throughout their entire lives, and a simple fix of their diet and habits is the proper prescription for their mood. There is no "clinical depression." That's text book jargon to get you to purchase pharmaceuticals. I would encourage you to take a look at the suicide rates in the USA, and other western countries. In both children and adults. We don't need to separate the two. Then, take a look at the number of them that are under influence of a mind altering substance. Some people call them drugs. Ask yourself, why are these two so closely correlated? And then ask yourself, who profits from peddling medications? Then ask yourself, if clinical depression is real, and the prescriptions are useful and proper solutions, why are people killing themselves, rather than healing themselves? After you do that, i would encourage you to take a look at the number of individuals that have completely cured themselves of all ailments, by a simple fix of their diet, and routines. Typically the diet change leans to eating raw vegan, and the habit change is simply socialization and outdoor activities. It's all available for you to read about on the web, in books, call your doctor, nutritionist. You don't have to take it from me.

Which is also consistent with how they describe women, always either stupid and irrational or practically like mindless animals. Sometimes akin to robots. Just look at how they talk about "game" and getting women to like you, it's like they're describing luring an animal or entering up up down down A B start. Women can't think, you just gotta get into their hardwired natural programming. Gross.

I feel completely comfortable because I see the H3 crew is full of great guys. And the men in this community reflect that, so clearly it is inspiring! The guys I see and interact with in this community are so intelligent, funny and simply just cool people. I mean you can see it in this very comment section. It keeps my hopes up to see that so many men like this exist even though in day to day life, as many women can probably relate, we often run into the unpleasant ones. FAMILY!!💜

Not only did Sebastian backtrack on all of his points (explicitly stated in earlier video and text Ethan brought up) but even in "clarifying" I can't understand how anyone would look to this kid for advice. - Clinical depression is different from being depressed in a colloquial sense. Some patients do require medication as they would with BPD, ADHD, Schizophrenia, etc. which is the whole point of having a professional diagnose it in the first place. - The whole notion of lifting weights and learning combat sports should be to emphasize fitness or as a hobby you enjoy only. In the USA you're risking getting shot if you break into someone's home. If you get into a physical fight and win you're looking at some serious legal (not to mention financial) ramifications. - Making it acceptable for men to post shirtless pics while demanding women cover up is extremely regressive and stems from both misogyny as well as insecurity. Sebastian is free to move to a Muslim country where women can only show their faces at most in public if it's so important to him. - Honestly, his LGBTQ takes are so logically inconsistent it's hard to know where to start. In conclusion, anyone who looks up to Sebastian is a loser. He can't even be held to the ultra cringey alpha/sigma/whatever male standard of masculinity after getting bodied so hard in this conversation to the point of backtracking like a coward. That is all.

He literally came up with his argument as he went along, he backtracked his true beliefs because he knows they’re problematic. Ethan “spreads a ton of hate,” yet this guy who goes around calling people uninspiring based off of their physical appearance, calling women hoes bc of how they dress, spreading misinformation about mental illness, making young men think they havent accomplished anything if they don’t have the physique to prove it, the list goes on… guys like this make me so sad for them I just feel bad

Ethan is known to spread hate, and he has a false agenda. He is very insecure about himself to a point where he go against fitness because of his weight, instead of challenging himself. He is depressed but instead of working on his depression he takes medication for years and he is still depressed.

@@suhaybabdi5978 Akhi, dickriding men is haram, so I suggest you stop doing it. Going to gym, as Ethan stated, is a fine thing to do, but clinic depression does exist. I'm in excellent physical condition, I am married with an awesome husband and two amazing kids, and a job that I thoroughly enjoy that allows me to have a lot of free time to take care of the kiddos and be there for their important life events as they grow older. Alhamdulilah for that. But guess what? I STILL have clinical depression. Often times with clinical depression, external facts DO NOT MATTER. I SHOULD be the happiest, but I have a mental illness caused by chemicals in my brain. Saying I should just "go to the gym" and get my already great life together is the dumbest shit imaginable. Taking medication is not a beta move.
