Solana subsidizes fees through high inflation. Someone said 800% over 4 years? The fees can't remain constant with their current plans. If they decentralize more or if they bring down their high inflation, they will not have the money to finance the fees.

Ethereum L1 and L2 are synergistic. Inflation on L1 is so low on Ethereum that less burn and cheaper fees would actually be net positive. Plus, the bull market will bring greater usage, so maybe burn remains high.

In future lost BTC could be charged fees like 1% annually to maintain on blockchain and gradually return in liquid supply. Something like ERG.

Seems like that quantum AI machine should be able to "find" or virtually recreate the "lost" crypto. CARDANO: I would really like to dip my toe into having a cold wallet (whatever that is) and doing some trading with all the Cardano I got talked into buying at $3+/coin !!! I have a question, in case of a black swan even where there is a cyber attack and we lose connection to the internet, is there a risk to lose funds on a hot wallet definitely? thanks guys and Guy for answering in a deep dive, it scares me to have to think that I might lose all funds in case of a massive world wide cyber attack

No, and if you do then there are a lot worse problems than your hot wallet because everybody lost all of their digital everything. Because of like a solar flare. In which case nobody even wants gold they want food, water weapons n females.

Thinking about this more, in the case of massive solar flare or emf scenario or God forbid nuke, I believe there are some scenarios where electronics no longer work. Not sure if they are toast or just don't work. So regarding cold storage wallets or maybe even mobile phones used only for crypto perhaps a Faraday bag may be a good thing to store these in. 🤔 Something to look into and think about for sure. Any cold storage crypto wallet should be kept in a safe place anyways, so a fireproof Faraday bag just an extra measure of security. 🤓🧐
