Eternal War: Shadows of Light is a hard hitting, action packed first person shooter that challenges the player with intelligent demons and creative puzzles. Created by Two Guys Software (now known as XrucifiX). Full multiplayer support so that you can play with your friends online against the demon hordes in a its multiplayer mode. Prepare for the Flood! Using models and monsters from the popular Quake 2: Dawn of Darkness Mod by WardSix Entertainment!
This game can be played in first person or third person perspective. There are seventeen demon filled levels that you'll explore. To beat the game, there's more than just blasting bad guys. Often times you'll have to unlock certain areas of the level via keys, push buttons or levers. There are some nice puzzles to figure out, so keep your thinking cap handy. If you want a real challenge, there are different difficulty levels to choose from: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Nightmare.
Eternal War offers a slew of twisted enemies for you to banish. The enemy AI can be very challenging at times. Most enemies have special abilities that can be devastating if you don't stop them quickly enough. Especially when they group up on you. One of the most difficult enemy units is the Wraith which teleports and often attacks you from behind. The cloaking Teneb creatures are vile and deadly in numbers. Many of the other demons resort to fire and grenade throwing. So keep your eyes peeled!

Its almost like guys who kill themselves are too chicken for life But in all seriousness until we tackle the real issues that cause men to kill themselves it'll keep happening. Men have become disposable utilities and not even second class citizens in terms of the amount of rights they have in comparison to how women have it in the western world. Thats bound to depress just about anyone. You could be homeless on the street and towns will run you out while homeless women get all the free passes (been there in 2011), women get all the help they could possibly need getting off of pharmaceutical medication while men are left out to dry or tk pay out of pocket (again, been there. Took four years to flush that shit out of my system with zero assistance), women can get away with mooching off of others while men are demonized for it, women can just point at somrone and make a false domestic violence or sexual violence claim and get away with it with the courts not even allowing the man to defend himself (been there. It sucks). And thats just the tip of the iceberg. Solve the whamen problem and youll solve the majority of male suicides

Just a guess: "Mike" is just the dev's attempt at being hip. It's short for Michael, as in, the Archangel Michael. Look it up, Sonny Jims. ...or don't. I don't care.
@mikeangelo2886
5 жыл бұрын
Actually its Mikael, short for Mika-El, whick means "who else but God" (El is short for Elohim, which basically means "Lord"). Michael was the smallest and pitiest angel, but when the highest, most great and most holy archangel Lucipher rebeled and conviced 1/3 of angels to follow him, Michael was the first to opposite him, questioning him who else can be God except for God. When he did that, he instantly leveled up, and took Lucipher place as God right hand. The now archangel Michael became patron of people who fight evil, from soldiers and policemans, to exorcists and mistics, and everybody who struggle with their inner demons. Theres this prayer , called "Archangels Michael Exorcism", than everybody anytime can say, and in catholic church is bein recited on the end of Mass everytime when the times are hard, like wartime. The soymilk joke almost made me choke on my rhubarb-hooch. The drink is actually quite drinkable. 2:1 ratio of water to peeled and chopped rhubarb, 2-3kg of sugar if making 15-20L batch, downsize if needed (replace some of it with honey if you want) and a large fistfull of blackcurrant leaves. Step 1. heat up the rhubarbs, some of the water and some sugar but do not boil. Once the rhubar looks like it has somewhat cooked but not starting to break down, pour the whole pot into a fermenting container. Step 2. Add remaining sugar and water and check if the temp. is safe for adding the yeast. Step 3. When the temp. is ok, add yeast and washed, slightly crushed blackcurrant leaves. Step 4. Mix and put the lid and waterlock on and start waiting. Because the ph-level of this drink is quite low, it will start to clear rapidly after it stops fermenting. Highly suggest using some artificial sweeteners with actual sugar during bottling to get the acid/sweet-balance right. 3-4wks after bottling, the stuff should be quite enjoyable. Cheers!
The premise of "dealing with suicide through an allegory of fighting demons in your mind" has become remarkably common in the past few years. It's starting to feel like zombies, overplayed to the umpteenth degree and just as predictable. That's not a jab at suicide, just that its an oddly common narrative device recently.
I believe the angel being named Mike is in reference to the arch angel Michael. I'm not religious at all but Michael is like the archangel of like honor and duty I believe he also fights for God or something along those lines. I think they were going for a subtle pun

The premise isn't that bad. The idea of having inner demons based on things happened reminds me a bit of Painkiller where there were demons and monsters based on the different circles and sins. I think that if a group of indie devs would re-polish it, change a bit the plot and add in new enemies, level designs and cooler\badass looking weapons\spells, this could actually turn into another Amid Evil\DUSK-esque gem.
