You're probably wondering, "How is this even possible?" Yes, really, how can a candle burn forever? The answer is simple: we use special techniques and components that allow the candle to burn for a long time and safely. Let's take a closer look.
Our experiment begins with an ordinary tin can. We make three holes in it that will serve to install the candle legs. This not only ensures the candle remains stable on any surface, but also prevents the table from heating up. The second, smaller jar will become our basis for creating a candle.
Now comes the fun part! We take an ordinary candle and melt it to a liquid state. Then, using specially cut cardboard, we create a roll that will become the base for our everlasting candle. It is important that the roll is tightly rolled.
Now it's time for the most magical moment. We pour melted paraffin inside a cardboard roll. Paraffin saturates the cardboard, and now we have an eternal source of light!
But why does this candle burn for so long? It's all about the characteristics of the material and its ability to retain heat. Cardboard impregnated with paraffin burns for a long time, creating a beautiful and bright fire without smoke or odor. This is the ideal solution for creating a cozy and romantic atmosphere in your home.
Additionally, an everlasting candle can also be useful in emergency situations. It can light up your room if you find yourself without electricity, or heat up your food in nature. After all, it not only burns for a long time, but also creates a pleasant warmth.

We have the same problem in South Africa daily - mostly 2 hours in a day .. sometimes 7 or even 11 hours without for days at a time!

А потушить потом как? Был у меня в детстве опыт. Отключили воду, свет, свеча в тарелке почти догорела, кинул туда в натёкший парафин коробок спичек. Потом в панике не знал, как его потушить😂! Нашёл кастрюлю, накрыл сверху, перекрыв кислород. Здесь, я так понимаю, возможность перекрыть кислород не предусмотрена

Nothing special, seen this a thousand times or more. No "eternal" candle as well, just long burning ones, except for the aluminium can with the metal dowel, pretty limited amount of oil and prone to spilling.

That is to complicated ..I did the same thing with cardboard boxes and a tuna can with Q-Tips for a wick and used candle
