Maximum Cover hands down. Full coverage with less than a tear drop size. Has the best longevity. Doesn't looks overly drying. Looks insanely good in pictures with zero flash back...every single time.

I think the formula for the maximum must have been changed because it only covers as well as my revlon colourstay and mine didn’t get dry as I was applying. Go into David Jones or Myers and get a sample before you buy.

I got both of these Foundations. Estee Lauder Double wear is hands down the best foundation I've ever used. The Estee lauder Maximum coverage is insanely FULL coverage & perfect for a night out when you want a really full coverage look. It does feel heavier on the skin though. Still love it, but the Estee Lauder double wear is definitely my everyday go to foundation ❤

WOW, u look so beautiful with your eye shadow on. Looks Amazing.. I find the camouflage is oily and isn’t as non transfer as double wear, but I prefer the coverage. So annoying, I knew it was too good to be true. The colours Estée Lauder has are sooo good.

I love seeing the different experiences people have with these foundations. I don't have break outs, but I can fry an egg on my face from the oil it generates. On me, double wear breaks up within the 6hr mark and it looks like a disaster struck on my face. Like my oil and the foundation got into a battle and my oils trashed it. And I can't stand the ghost face flash backs in pictures. On the other hand, the maximum cover works until the 8hr mark and when the oil comes through, it mixes in beautifully with the foundation and maintains a smooth radiance that still garners compliments. It looks similar to the result I get with my Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Soft Radiance. It's my number one workhorse foundation. I hope to God they don't ever discontinue it.

What are your favourite foundations that are full coverage for oily skin

I have some white surgical scars on my body I would like to cover, what one do you think would be best? And do you think it's ok to swim with these since they are waterproof? Thank you so much for your help! ❤️

I feel Camouflage is not as sweat resistant as the double wear is.

maximum cover is a bit oily for combination skin, the coverage is perfect

What lipstick lipliner and blush did you use?

What other products do you use - lipstick, blush, etc - that lasts so perfectly? I have oily skin too and use ELDW but I struggle to make it last all day!

For DW to last all day and control my oils, I always prep my skin with oil free moisturiser and Nars smooth and protect primer, then apply the foundation and set it with a bit of setting powder on the areas that I get most oily (my whole face lol). To finish the makeup I spritz it with setting spray to lock everything in! I’m going to do a video about what makeup I use that lasts all day, so stay tuned!💖✨

Try using a setting powder like Mac studio fix on top of foundation ;) And touch up throughout the day. I love using cheapoooo foundations when I’m not going out anywhere special. lol

What bronzer?

I like your accent, apparently i have one too, a mix of Portuguese and Spanish..

I have tons of foundations and Double Wear along with Nars are the only foundations I receive compliments on how my skin looks. I don’t think any makeup company has come near this formulation so it’s the best of the best.

Hi. I have been watching your videos as I just purchased ELDW for the first time. Any recommendations for what to mix in eldw to help with dryness. I moisturize prior and looks great but by end of day I look dry. Please advise.

Try mixing the Double Wear with a hydrating face serum, a great one to use is the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum, just mix in 2 drops. Also, try the MAC Fix+ spray, it’s designed to hydrate and refresh your skin, you can use under or over your makeup, it’s really good for dry skin. Hope this helps!💜✨

On the Clinique Beyond Perfecting foundation am the golden neutral shade .. what shade would you recommend that is similar to the clinique shade x

I used to love double wear, wore it all the time-then I hit my 50’s and menopause and I can no longer wear it-looks horrible on me-maybe I’ll try the maximum cover.

If you have dry skin, I strongly recommend cream foundation. Try Mac's full coverage cream foundation, the compact with the clear lid. The finish is beautiful. Mature, dry skin does best with cream formulas. And good skincare, exfoliating and good moisturizer makes a big difference too.

I’ve been using this foundation for 13 years i dot my face with the blue and then with a foundation brush I put on a little bit of a liquid foundation so that it doesn’t dry fast the liquid I use is maybeline fit me matte and it feels amazing, I put a little on forehead, cheeks and chin makes it so much smoother and then you can set after

Oh and you will have to wash your sponge or makeup brushes pretty often as it does harden

You have to work a section at a time. It sets and doesn't budge. It lasts a lot better than double wear on me, but still looks more skin like and photo friendly.

Do they both set on their own?

Yes they do, but if you’ve got combo or oily skin and want more matte finish, then I recommend to use a setting powder on your t-zone area to set your makeup. Hope this helps!✨

Maximum cover dosent blend dry to fast coverage great very cakey double wear is better only downside no pump

I find the double wear more cakey and the flash backs in pics are horrible, gives the worst ghost face. Maximum coverage looks more skin like working in sections.
