Here in Texas its the same thing.. stuff just isn't around when you get to the ES.. I spoke to one of the owners adult daughter and she told me that the vintage shops contact them and buy in bulk before the sale.. its not cool but its part of the game.. she also said that they don't pay as well but because they have an existing relationship and they buy in bulk they get the first opportunity.. pretty much why I stopped going ..A year ago. All the vintage shops are doing side deals, lowballing and then jacking the price at the brick and mortar.. they don't have to get up early, the ES company contacts them and they get first crack.. its about relationships.

Yeah it's so wack with the backdooring. And all these people trying to backdoor are raising the price in general. Just went to a sale on Friday and the 1 nascar aop was dryrot and they priced it at $50. And priced a redskins trashcan at $75. And hats covered in dust and cobwebs were $15. And 5 people who don't genuinely care about vintage clothes were among the people going after vintage clothes. They only care about money in them. 3 of them were in there 50's and 60's and clearly got info from watching KZread videos. 9 out of 10 sales now are high priced sales. 7 years ago only 1 out of 10 sales were high priced.

Please never stop posting estate sale videos 😭 they’re so addicting

STRAIGHT FACTS BRU… estate sales have been wack af. i went to one the other day found 2 shirts cool $15-$20 shirts were super stained tho so i wouldve had to oxi and put more time into it. they wanted $15… nothing crazy but still cmon the shirts are piss yellow😭😭😭 gotta love it!

I had an auction company tell me the exact same thing. Advertised pictures without posting them as bid-able lots.

That’s a common occurrence here in California where I live. They do know what will draw the professional crowd in and then usually keep it for themselves to sell somewhere else. Almost always priced way too high. Good Luck!

Wish it was just things not being there or overpriced. Fighting pre sells, companies overpricing to keep, fake diggers that were clearly picked through and tossed, campers signing up 12 people and the list magically being restricted to 12 people let in. It goes on and on. I gave up. Prices are astronomical here when you clear all those hurdles 🤣

Here In Cali last week found vintage ffa jacket for $15 and today at another estate sale found 4 vintage Nike track shoes orange tag with boxes for $20 all four pretty cool stuff in my city never seen fake listing or stuff like that.

I can agree with that 100%, they also have the responsibility of getting the home owner paid too, which makes their pricing/styles even worse!
