Interesting you should say what is the more effective driver (i.e. carrot or stick). In my experience both are required and let me explain briefly; carrot approach works great to get buy in and get processes off the ground such as stewardship and so on - this would be the forming stage. The stick is sometimes needed for the 'storming' phase when processes go live. As the DG journey continues, bit approaches can be extremely useful, especially when it comes to delivery.

Great explanation. Thank you very much for sharing. I think that the carrot is preferred. but it's not always the one that succeeds as quickly as the stick does in some of these cases.
