Consensus (ijma) of Sahaba (Campanians) Three types of agreement: 1. They agree on an event, because they are part of same event 2. Agreement of scholars among Sahaba 3. Dear Bayyinah, I've been contemplating on this topic since Allah guide me back to Islam. There are just too many rules on Shari'ah that I had difficulties on prioritizing our Deen. Shias don’t agree with us on 1,2 or 3. Their principals and rituals are different. I don’t think this talk was aimed at them

I thank Allah SwT from the bottom of my heart for Nouman Ali Khan's contributions and allowing me to understand the deen and be guided in shaa Allah. May Allah SwT reward Nouman Ali Khan with the best of rewards in the dunya and the akhira for his efforts. Ma shaa Allah how he makes everything so clear and may Allah SwT reward and bless his teacher and all the people making an effort to understand the deen. I am really impressed with this lecture. I feel that with the information overload these days this should be taught and shared with all muslims. To put everything back into perspective.

Ustadh I was searching for the pillars of islam, not because I don't know them but because I want to go back to the basics and make sure I understand them and put them into practice the right way. This is the video that popped up and al hamdoellilah I learnd exactly what I was searching for. That is a wrong translation, used commonly. There are no "pillars" of Islam; "buniyaul Islam" : "buniya" is foundation, "buniya" is not pillar. Those five aspects that are often mentioned are five foundational aspects of, symbolically, the house that symbolizes Islam. Please refer to the original hadith when Rasul (PBUH) was explaining the subject.

I've always had an issue of how to study Islam in practical daily life and where to start. Jazak Allah Khair. Mr. Nauman is like a lighthouse for us Muslims.

This speech is so enlightening! I came to a point in my life when I feel like Islam is so hard to follow even impossible. But in reality Islam is not difficult. It is wrong people who make it into something difficult by making the enhancements mandatory as he points out in the video with the house decoration example.

That was so awesome!! I just came to know what I was missing in my life. May Allah reward! I love Nauman Bhai! May Allah give us guidance and let us understand more of his deen! Ameen Ya Rab AL Alameen!
