Sooo... USUAL youtubers don't need an intro. But man, you had THE intro - i'd still love to watch all 6 seconds of it 😍 Can we maybe get it back as an outro?

I really liked your intro! I mean, I'll admit that I didn't notice it was gone for a video, but it did help bring me into the channel earlier on as a quick showing of what you could do. I could see how it would get old in succession, but I personally don't mind sitting through a good opener.

Bring back the intro! Those 6 seconds are amazing to watch and it proves the value you create as a KZreadr and why people should watch your stuff. I agree that with most KZreadrs it's unnecessary and a waste of time. But for a motion graphics channel it's perfect!

I just love the way you do your videos by now. Both fast to the point and full of useful stuff but also highly entertaining!

I honestly love the intro sequence. Might be an odd opinion, but I think it sums up the channel in, like you said, only six seconds.

Just saw this comment as I was leaving mine and thought I'd give you my two cents - I'm a professional TV editor, so I do know a thing or two about this topic ;) I'd highly recommend looking into DaVinci Resolve. The free version of their software is super powerful and has some of the best audio editing tools I've used. There are tons of explainers on KZread about how to get started with the software and with editing in general. If you've already got all the Adobe products, then Premiere is alright too (although it's not my favourite, but it works very nicely with After Effects, going back and forth). Good Luck!

@@Jacob-jd2yp gotcha! A professional mic is always the best choice (and I'm sure Ben uses one) - but for a quick, cheap, and surprisingly usable option, you can use your iPhone to record a voice memo, and then import that into the editing software of your choice for narration & voice over.

I used to be a round-trip-into-Audition guy, but Essential Sound in Premiere really gets you most of the way there. It's really easy to overdo the filters and compressors and Audition when a light touch does more service to the end product.

That wasn't a bad powerpoint design, that was classic website design from the late 90s.

The fact that you mention you're not a big fan of Intros and the Like/Subscribe cues makes me have so much respect for you. It's like 90% of people don't even think for a second about how annoying those can be when you slap it on every single video (sometimes multiple times) just like nearly every other KZreadr. I might "forget" to subscribe to a channel once every 3 years. Other than that hearing the "don't forget to smash that like button and subscribe" has got to be one of the most unnecessary, annoying and overused lines on the internet.

If you want to know my opinion, you're the first channel I send to my homies who want to get started with after effects, because everything you do has a sense of style, encouraging getting your hand deep in layers and pannels. I felt the ditching of the intro was because Ben was transitioning from tutorial type of channel phase to a more content creation phase.

I am only starting, it will be overwhelming to learn both Premier Pro and After Effects at this point. Any suggestions for at least some simple motion graphics?
