ESR Rebound Hybrid 360 for iPad Pro 11" 2024: Slim Folio Case * Multiple Portrait & Landscape Angles

Ғылым және технология

Want a slim folio case for your new 2024 iPad Pro 11 inch (M4), but don't want to sacrifice stand functionality? Check out the new ESR Rebound Hybrid 360! Amazon (affiliate): amzn.to/4bzKfsh You can use it in both landscape and portrait orientations in multiple angles, and the stand portion can either be positioned in front of the iPad Pro or behind it. There is a separate inner case featuring a crystal clear backplate for the iPad Pro which attaches magnetically to the outer case, and of course it can be used by itself as well. Finally, the case supports auto sleep wake and there is a charging spot for your Apple Pencil Pro, as well as a strong magnetic latch to secure both the folio cover and the Apple Pencil Pro when closed. Overall, this is a nice case from ESR, but keep in mind that the stand functionality doesn't work that well on a lap or propped up in bed. On a table, it works great, but softer, uneven surfaces are a bit of a challenge for the ESR Rebound Hybrid 360.

Wish the magnets were alot stronger. Hope they forget about the acrylic back design and put more and stronger magnets. The shift case magnets are decent but could have more strength for their magnets.

Yeah...I'm not a fan of clear cases in general. Too many tradeoffs! And I wish the magnets were stronger too...

Can you use it without the case like directly attach the iPad to the outside case ?

Unfortunately, no. This will only work if you have the iPad Pro in the inner case...

Will the case from here be compatible with the esr rebound keyboard?

Oooh I'm also interested to know. I own the rebound keyboard 360 case for my M1 iPad air but I want to interchange the outer cover when I don't need the keyboard. Is the inner case of this compatible with the Rebound 360 keyboard case or is the keyboard inner case compatible with this outer folio cover?

Sadly, no. So far, I haven't found a single inner case that is compatible with an 'outer case' that it didn't come with originally. Between the 2022 iPad Pro 11 inch and the new 2024 M4 iPad Pro, I have 6 ESR iPad cases and none of them has parts that are usable with any other case. At first I was irritated, but once you start thinking about it, it does kind of make sense. For example, the Rebound Hybrid 360 inner case has magnets that are positioned to allow it to stick to the outer case in portrait and landscape, but because it is a clear case, there can’t be any magnets in the middle. And the Shift case has to have the special magnets to allow it to get into that elevated landscape as well as regular landscape and portrait. And the Rebound 360 inner case has to be able to have the lower part of the inner case separate nicely from the outer case when the cantilever stand is pushed back. That’s just my guess as to why they are all incompatible, though.

Opportunity missed by ESR. I would love to switch easily between a simple folio and keyboard case easily as I don’t always want to carry it in a heavy keyboard case at all times. Especially releasing a few different types of cases with the same rebound 360 name series.

@kunfushun I totally get it! I have a bunch of ESR cases and I feel exactly the same…it would be so great to mix and match. I can’t imagine ESR is unaware of this…I think there must be technical issues affecting this.
