He wanted out of Tennessee. And I was just comparing two different situations where no one would even be talking about AJ if he was still with Tennessee. With Philly he was immediately playing in a Super Bowl. Where as Tennessee has been in a free fall. Multiple and, fired coaches, etc. I’m just highlighting how situations really matter. But players often never want to consider that.

You’re making good points, but I disagree with you on one thing. Brandon Ayuk does not have to be thankful or worry about the salary cap of the 49ers. The NFL stands for not for long and he has a obligation to his family to make the most money at the end of the day. This is a cutthroat business with high steaks NFL teams will use you up and spit you out. Don’t feel bad for the organization.

Even KC had that where they've had to get rid of Hill and Sneed Julian, the 49ers are the Boston Celtics of the NFL. @@JWLSports Jrue Holiday is the constantly underrated PG who's arguably the best defender in the NBA at his position. The closest comp to that on the 9ers is probably Purdy because he's the QB, field general of his team, much like Holiday is the floor general for Boston. Purdy had arguably the best numbers in the NFL last year for his position and is still being underrated because he's not flashy. Same with Jrue

I got your point. Devante Adam or Tyreek Hill would have been better examples of excellent WR on teams not being used to their top potential. I agree the 9ers are not going to be able to keep everyone. They need to get Brock to agree to less and if it came down to $ between Aiyuk or Debo I would have kept Aiyuk. Debo is a lot like CMC, so if there’s somewhere to cut the fat, I would have done that. Aiyuk is top notch in being able to separate on each play which is intense running and cutting to not be the number 1 target. So his value is not being elevated because how they are using him with their stacked roster. From what I get from this..he wants to be a number one while getting paid so they probably will trade him. It’s just business. He’s at the point in his career where its more about getting the bag in his prime than his team’s wins right now . When he gets older those two may reverse.

Yeah but Tyreek is still relevant to a degree. And Devante left for good reason. He knew Aaron was leaving. And he couldn’t predict how Love was going to be. The only teams that could pay BA now he’d be irrelevant and not play bound immediately. But at least you got what I was saying! Haha.

You’re missing the point. I’m not saying the BA and AJ situation is the same. I’m saying where you are matters. It’s an undeniable fact that AJ with the Eagles is having way more success and opportunity to make money and be more relevant and popular compared to if he stayed with the titans. Where he’d be playing for multiple coaches, multiple QBs, and zero playoff games. Which is the situation BA would be if he wants as much money as possible as no true contender can pay him what he wants.

Too many variables if he leaves. Cant see it any better for him as a player other than the dollar signs. More money for a sub optimal coaching staff, front office, and supporting cast on the field. It's like climbing Mt Everest and youre almost at the peak, yet you choose to turn around and redo the last 3 miles under more harsh conditions. It's as simple as that

Nah, I don't agree with you. It's his 1st contract. He's the #1 Wr Deebo is a Gadget player. He's tough but he can't beat man coverage and when Mccaffrey came to the niners it lessen his role. The Eagles cap is going to collapse in a few years. The 49ers are riding the cap wave trying to avoid a TEAM collapse. If some franchises want to risk the TEAM for a player that's their business. But the 49ers might not being willing to risk the longevity of a playoff and Super Bowl ready team to pay every player the maximum amount possible. I'd rather have longevity over win the Super Bowl now and go through TEAM HELL for years like it was when Shanahan and Lynch took over. There are FEW NFL Super Bowl contending teams. The 49ers are one of them. What the 49ers are accomplishing as a franchise is RARE... it's literally, RARE. Brandon Aiyuk's best NFL seasons have been with Brock Purdy.

I disagree with you, Aiyuk on the commanders would be DEADLY. Don’t underestimate how good this guy is at reading zones and beating man coverage as well as how good of a run blocker he is. With his work ethic he can be in the Top 10 in the league and he understands that. Good points you talked about and I’m subscribing off this video but I just disagree with that point you made.

BA isn’t a team guy unfortunately and the key point here is that the Niners organization isn’t disrespecting him with a $26mil offer with a big guarantee , BA is trying to squeeze every penny and that in it itself is selfish. AJ Brown was traded because he asked for top teir WR money. He didn't want to stay with the Titans, he wanted the bag. Same with Tyreek Hill. The situation is very common. He'll get payed top WR money elsewhere and he'll be fine. The 49ers don't need Aiyuk sure, but if you think Aiyuk is only getting open because of Kittle and Deebo you don't know what you're talking about plain and simple. Aiyuk beats #1 coverage, catches contested balls and can take a hit over the middle. He's getting 25+ mil somewhere

Tyreek Hill has literally admitted he never wanted to leave KC and clearly regrets it. He’s missed out on multiple super bowls. And would have made MORE money in KC because of endorsements. Are ANY of those WRs looked down on because they don't have a SB ring? Hell no, half those guys are 1st ballot HOFs. But he’s acting like a baby and not a leader of a Super Bowl caliber team. If he only wants the money and WR1 targets then the only way he gets that is on a bad team. No SB contender can pay him and get him those targets. Texans, bengals, bills, ravens, chiefs, packers, lions, eagles, cowboys, etc. all can’t pay him. So if he wants more money. What no one is talking about is that Purdy is going into year 3 of his 4 year rookie deal. Everyone is talking about how the 49ers HAVE to pay Purdy, but in reality, they dont. They have him on his rookie deal for another year AFTER this season. If they are smart, the make Purdy play out his contract before thats even a discussion. So pay Aiyuk his money.

Because Jed York remembers the times before Shanny I’ll call it the dark ages. You don’t get rid of a coach that has you as a contender for the last 5 years. Business is booming for this franchise from attendance to jersey sales to the Niners constantly talked about by every news source. It’s a business he’s running. The chiefs may have had their struggles in offense but were arguably a top 3 defense last year. Look how Lamar looked playing them they mustered up 10 points of offense and the ravens had the number 1 defense. The niners will eventually get over the hump they should have won that game.
