Esperanto: Dekoj da parolantoj - Dulanda LK en Bostono - Somero 2019

Kio okazas dum Esperanto-kongreso? Jen pli da konversacioj de mia somera vojaĝo al Bostono.
This summer Esperanto-USA and KEA (the Canadian Esperanto Association) held their national conventions concurrently at Emerson College in Boston. Picking up where I left off in the last video, I show a little bit of what happens at a Landa Kongreso, share a little conversation with friends, and give a sneak peak into some other things that I filmed this summer and will be available to watch in the coming weeks and months.
A special thanks to Esperanto-USA whose support made this video possible in several ways. I have more footage of the kongreso - plus more videos that I shot while in Boston, so your support will continue to bear fruit even into 2020.
Thank you to the patrons who support this channel (see list further down). Going into 2020, you are going to be even more important to keep this channel running. As I write this, I'm finishing up a seasonal job - which is why there hasn't been a new video in the last two weeks. Your financial support helps me set aside time to edit the various things I've filmed so that you can be The Best Esperanto Speaker You Can Be. Look for more information on Patreon in 2020.

I've always found statues to be great listeners too (I'm totally guessing as to what the video is about) :D

Yeah, sorry. No subtitles ... yet. I would like to spend some time subtitling some of my videos, but that will come at the expense of making new ones. It's about my trip to Boston this summer for national Esperanto convention. Bi-national in fact because the Canadian organization held their annual business meetings at the same time. I have the briefest of conversations by the statue while waiting for the cafeteria to open -- and then talk about some of the videos I'd LIKE to make that I already filmed -- but can't get to editing due to limits on my time... hopefully soon.

Am I the only one that’s wants a video on Esperanto swear words? I’ve heard the best way to learn a language is learning the words and phrases you most commonly use.

Esperanto Variety Show is family friendly. I'm working on a collab with a comedian who wants to know how to say vulgar things in Esperanto. That will be a video on HER channel, not this one. I'll be sure to let you know when that happens.

Uzu la dentoradon kaj malrapidigu la sonon. Check out my previous video. I include tips in the description on how to use that video to improve your Esperanto. Those tips apply to most of my videos. kzread.info/dash/bejne/mXiBo5audaS-oMo.html
