I did notice when you were playing the big common (6min :55sec) that you still had your line clipped up? Did you forget to unclip it when you cast out, as playing a fish while still clipped up could end in tears....

During the fight he waits until the Marker Gum is in line with the tip, and then he re-clips the rod to save time. It is the competition angler shining through !
