Hey! Recently started playing again and with Mayhem just around the corner I was looking to start playing my DK in PVP again! Already figured out some things by skimming the comments, but still had some questions! 1. Do you use Draugrkin Frontbar and Trickery Backbar? 2. what weapon-traits are you using? 1 nirn 1 sharpened mace? what about backbar and enchants/poisons? 3. With the 1 free armor spot you run the heavy trainee chestpiece I assume? 4. you run divines - max magicka on all pieces? 5. you pump 64 points in magicka, or a spread between mag and HP?

Yo. I run draugr front and trickery back, 1 nirn/1 charged maces, 1 nirn backbar with escapist poisons. 1p trainee. I run all impen w/ full tri-glyphs and I try to get around 31.6k hp and dump the rest of my points into mag.

Always vamp, yeah. For CP I'd just do Survival Instincts/Sustained by Suffering/Pain's Refuge/Juggernaut or Relentlessness in Red as standard. For blue I'd go 2x damage, 1x mitigation and 1x healing

Yo. I run full impen and full tri-glyphs. For health I'd just get around 31.5-32k health and dump the rest in mag, don't need much on arctic warden.

Usually highest or second highest healing received. Vigor & Pale contend for number 1, cinder is usually quite low as movement is more important in 1vX

Hello, how do you setup ur armor, example: chest/head are the 2h, leg is the 1m and everything else light or it doesnt matter how u set it up. Fairly new to the game.

Really strong dueling class. Would use some combination of zaan, draugrkin, vAS, etc. Not really much variety in terms of what sets you use for duels

Is dk still good for solo this patch ? It might be a skill issue on my end but it doesn’t feel that good as far burst goes . It seems like I’m always stalemating groups or dying . The tankiness and healing is good but I feel like I’m lacking in damage somehow.

It's alright I guess but not as good, no. Incoming damage feels way higher and the status effect buffs did not really affect DK as burning/poisoned were already buffed through your passives. I'm running a slightly different setup now with higher burst potential but the defense is still not as good as last patch. Also this meta is dominated by ranged (sorcs and snipe NBs) so playing melee is much harder

I would run kyn or draugrkin with a mythic if you don't have asylum but I would recommend you just farm Asylum as it's already bis this patch and will be even better next patch imo

Last patch I made the math and a quick test and charged trait was pretty close to vAS uptime on status effects. Bolth would get close to 70% uptime when u “free dps” ur target. Have you compared them?
