Oh, I definitely am! Looking for things that apply to help a returning tank. It's been quite a few years since I played. Amazing video, thank you so much for explaining all the little details numbers, percentages, etc. Ive been playing for a couple months honestly since the day i started playing and i cant put the game down lol but one thing i kept not understanding is what numbers i should be striving to have my characters stats at for each build and how much they impact. I will never get into this game as much as you with all these stats. Yet I still watched in awe of what I didn’t know and how it could potentially help me if I wanted to. My puny brain couldn’t or won’t lol do this hahah. Excellent video. Well done. Yeah the last bonus tip. Just shows why. Travel to someone. Doesn’t matter where, and then travel to where you want. The "Beam me Up" add-on [for PC users] automates most free wayshrine travel -- saving BOTH $millions and CP! Unlike those nasty PvPer's, PvE mobs can never Crit. I'm pretty sure they can never apply Penetration (reducing player armor). Concur? Edit: fantastic video. Well researched and exceptionally well presented!

Oh, and for the "committed" (both definitions), google "eso uesp housing" and browse the available houses (10 free + 13 more for approx 560k gold total). If "Beam me up" can't find a friend in your desired destination zone, it'll show you an owned home in that zone, and let you port inside (or just outside). That's like 23 extra spots (usually decently close to nearby wayshrines). I've been at this for a while and own all gold-purchasable houses ... and it makes a big difference, but at least start with a small budget as soon as practical!

There are enemies which apply armor reduction debuffs but as far as i know they do not have base penetration

@AreaofEffect one example of this is the Dro-M'athra Savage in the Maw of Lorkhaj trial, another would be the final boss of Sunspire, which applies marked for death to whoever has agro.

This is another awesome video. I have watched it a few times already. Thank you again for all the time you put into creating this content. I am only in my 2nd year playing this game, and you have taught me a lot! There are so many things to learn, and your videos are like a Master Class! Also, I really enjoy your Out of The Box builds. I am a storyteller at heart and try to build my characters with a theme or story. It is how I enjoy playing an RPG. You not only accomplish this well, but you make builds that work, are really fun to play in PVP/PVE/Questing, and they all look really cool. It all makes for a very immersive experience! @@AreaofEffect people hate the aoe pressure. It really stamina drains them from roll dodging. As soon as I place the wall and shards instant roll dodging and I just place again and half of their stamina is gone. No stamina= respawn....

Amazing video. I did't get something from it cuz i am negate for mathematics and statistics. The only thing i know for sure now is i can survive with my silly toons on pve and pvp and i get/got a lot of fun. My respect to u for try to spread in TESO rooster all these matemathician phd info. No worries! I always try to support in whatever way I can. I’d like to bounce some build ideas off you at some point if you have time. Also on your dk that’s running red mountain and plague slinger, change out the monster helm for Eternal Guardian if you haven’t before. It adds some spice to that build. I’ve been running that for a long time since they added the 1 second proc set delay and sometimes that scares people because you looking like you are RPing a moving volcano xD. But keep the videos coming brother!

Dude, your videos are an absolute staple in my life... On a side note, you should really think about doing voice acting... I'm not saying your voice sounds like his, but it always reminds me of the dude that narrates the Christmas story in the way that it's comforting and grabs the attention of listeners... I would totally watch a series with you narrating for sure... Thank you for being so open about what you know... It's always irritating when people try to silence me in guild chats when I'm trying to explain what I'm doing on my characters or how to get higher damage or whatnot... I know that as an obsessive and utterly addicted night blade, my intentions should always be shady and silent but I truly feel that we should ALL help others to grow as players... Maybe it's because I only started ESO to stop being so obsessed with chess and am not what you'd call a "gamer"... I play A game in a die hard fashion until something else comes along... But, I don't think I'll ever stop playing this one... It's just rad af... Gg, dude...

What are you using @ 16:57 Character Sheet to get 1912 magicka recover, 3373 Stamina recovery, 6096 Dmg, 19623 Penetration, 31433 Resistance, 20% crit,, 25k health and 30k stamina? Those are impressive stats!

What if you could reach 80K+ in resistance? Lets say with Aetherial Ascension & Juggernout, plus the Dov-Rha Sabatons. Does that mean that for a 10K attack you still take 5K damage?

Correct! Resistances are hard capped at 33,000 so once you reach 33k Spell or Physical, anything extra that you have does nothing to benefit your character. At 33k you gain 50% mitigation and for each 660 resistances, it’s equivalent to 1% mitigation.

Proc stands for: Programed Random Occurrence. To better understand this, I’ve found a great definition/explanation online and put it here: Proc is a computer gaming term that rhymes with "dock." Proc is used as both a noun and a verb to describe whenever a random gaming item activates or a random gaming event occurs. Particularly common in massively multiplayer online games, procs are random events where special armor or weapons provide the user with temporary extra powers or whenever the opposing character suddenly becomes more powerful in some way.

Players can't play due to getting kicked from the game every 5-10 minutes! I get no error just quit to desktop since the update! I am not the only one who having this issue but it seems some people are not affected by it so I am puzzled & tried everything! Unless someone has some ideas what it is???

This was me for a month or twoas well. Then I found out they were redoing a lot of the cell towers in my state... In phases from county to county. Might be one of the reasons since they're updating a lot of that internet supply crap. Hope it evens out for you like it did me eventually. 🤷

I will try other DNS. I got a list to use from Google DNS, Open DNS & so on...I use DNS Benchmark to see what is the fastest...

This recently happened to me. I rebooted my modem, restarted my computer, investigated to see if someone else was using all the bandwidth etc. The actual problem was my VPN pushing my ping rate to 999, and jumping all over.

@@cassiaphire3645 I am on Xfinity cable modem 1.2Gbps speed I use speedtest my ping is around 20's. I have used Dos commands to clear everything ipconfig/flushdns, iprelease iprelease reset renew & netsh int ipv4 reset & so on....Just baffling...

Nice job on glyphs. Ive had WR scorepushes ask me about these bc they dont know how they work. Oops i skimmed thru. Idk if u mentioned how to actually proc the glyphs with LAs, weapon skills, or reproc them with the 4 ground aoes…. Snapshot dmg is incorrect tho. Sticky dots do NOT snapshot their dmg based on which bar ur on. Only the bar u cast it from. (Like entropy or claw or vamps bane etc). Exceptions to the rule are sticky dots with secondary effects like trap/hemo…. Recovery stats happen every 1s out of combat fyi.

As far as the “sticky dots” and the recovery rate of 1 second ticks, you are wrong my friend! I doubled back and tested these things again for myself just to make sure I wasn’t crazy or if something had changed (because so many things often do lol) and my findings were still exactly as I had stated. I took a couple video clips of these as well during the testing if you are interested in seeing the proof in real time. Anyways I genuinely appreciate you and your feedback, as well as your support of the channel. It means a lot! 🙏🏼💯

@@AreaofEffect np. N naw i just tested last week. The only way a sticky dots dmg changes from bar to bar is if it has secondary effects that update in real time (like traps hemo proc). (Or the actual buffs/debuffs change ofc) And umm. I think everyone knows ur recovery rate in and out of combat is not the same lol. 2s is correct for while in combat tho which is mainly when u want it lol so i prob shudnt even brought that up

@@ColbyCadwell No sir I just checked with the Degeneration skill. No secondary effects applied! And same for the “out of combat” recovery rates. I had 1700 stam recovery on the stat screen (shown in the video clip) and then consumed all stamina from dodge rolling while remaining out of combat. And you can see the stamina resource bar filling up slowly at 1700 stam every 2 seconds in 2 second intervals still.

Needless to say pretty much everythingggggg changed, which is fine I think most of the changes were for the better... but goooooooooooood luck finding correct and up-to-date info online about 95% of stuff - take my advice yall and join a guild and ask all your questions
