Anne, in the days of Christ the Jewish leaders uplifted the law but rejected Christ-- today Christians uplift Christ but reject his law...the 10 commandments are still binding but Christians only keep 9 of them while rejecting the 4th which is the Sabbath - the Papacy changed that commandment to Sunday which was used for worshiping the Sun --read Rev. 12.17...the SDA church has the best view of scripture

So, if what SDA’s are saying is right, we have to keep all the 613 laws (that included circumcision, feast days, cleansing laws, sacrifices) because Jesus apparently is saying all the law (Torah) is binding, and have authority over us?

@@AkeemKN ............the ceremonial laws refer to the laws of moses - the moral law is referred to as the law of God-- so the laws of moses no longer apply but I cannot kill - steal - fornicate - so those laws are perpetual - read Mt. 5. 17-18 where JEsus said nothing would ever change in the law of 10 commandments...moses placed the ceremonial laws in the "side" of the ark after he wrote them but he placed the moral law "inside" the ark as they were perpetual - read Dt. 10: 5 and Dt.31.26...KJV.....so that shows a distinction in the 2 laws....also jesus told the rich young ruler to enter heaven he must keep the moral law matthew 19. 17-18....so you have been taught wrong - the new covenant of hebrews 8. 10 is the writing of the law on the heart so we have to keep the law in the new birth for we are born again from sin to righteousness....the reason people say the law is not binding today is because they do not want to keep the 7th day Sabbath....Romans 7 says the law is holy just and good...3.31 says do we then make void the law through - God forbid we establish the law....the sabbath day controversy involves the mark of the beast - Sabbath is God's mark or sign - Sunday is for the worship of the Sun - from paganism....so I disagree with your view

@@olgacerda4390 you don't need to go anywhere else. Well, you need a good church that teaches what Pastor John is teaching. That's it.

This reminds me of the Bible study by a guy named Jim (concentrate on the message, not the messenger for we’re all sinners) called “Identity Crisis”. So many religions (over 70,000+) out there but only 1 Jesus Christ that indeed lived, died, resurrected & will come again, in the flesh. The study was 3hrs. (if we can watch a movie for that long…) & I found it to be like this & your other studies; gripping, profound, enlightening. It pushed me to seek out Jesus Christ more & grow in a better relationship with Him. The single most devastating thing that could happen in any of our lives would be for Jesus to say to us, “I don’t know you”. I fear that above any thing else. Thank you for sharing your life long study of the Bible!

In my estimation the greatest threat to the church (the elect) is the sufficiency of scripture. Some years back there was the battle of the inerrancy of scripture. Ppl nowadays since they don’t like being confronted with their sins and the the Remedy of it, they decide that they want some thing more such as an experience, or the church to entertain them (such as what’s going on in a lot of so called churches). Just as the NT has stated that in the last days ppl will no longer tolerate sound doctrine- they just want to hear what they want to hear. So gladly false teacher are scratching their ears!

I have Catholic in laws, and I am truly fearful for their salvation. But they will not hear me because I am younger than them. They have so bought into the enemies lies and I have felt a significant burden on my heart over them. According to the SDA they have the ultimate truth , according to the roman catholic church , they are the true church , so where does one draw the line as to truth ? All three groups mentioned have different interpretations of scripture and all three add to scripture in one way or another. Did you listen to this video?

This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

It was one of the best sermons I've ever heard. At the end, the prayer which was great, you mentioned 1 Timothy 3:16 but you forgot to mention that he rose up in glory, but we all know that. 1 Timothy 3:16 King James Version 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Hold fast to these truths brothers and sisters; we are warned that when the man of sin is presented, he will come with a doctrine not of his father's meaning to me it will be one we haven't yet heard but most likely oh so close. The 3 questions mentioned here will be priceless to consider. May we use this time of warning granted to us through His mercy and grace to study the Word and let it seep into our hearts. This is my prayer for all the saints and saints to come.

You're teaching has helped me understand God's word so much more, but it's very difficult to watch and study when you have an ad break sometimes every 2 minutes and in the middle of a sentence.

One of the easiest ways to try anothers doctrine, if they don't love thy neighbor as self regardless of whom it may be, it isn't God's.

Why did Paul say there are many lords and many gods at 1 Corinthians 8:4-6 but, for Christians, there is only one God, THE FATHER???

My father recently told me that God doesn't care about doctrine. That doctrine is not important, all he cares about is a relationship. To make matters worse, he claims to be a minister of gospel. I'm so afraid for him that he will die and spend eternity in hell. Please pray for his salvation.

Yes, Salvation is written "Yeshua" in the Hebrew language. So when reading the Old Testament/Tanak, even in today's world, Yeshua is there in the place of salvation. Salvation is truely the God person Yeshua! So amazing! When our Savior walked the earth His true name was Yeshua not Jesus - this is the greek translation which took away the miracle of His true Name Yeshua.

@@wilsontexas - the so called angels who Ellen White said came repeatedly to her supposedly gave her information that is NOT scriptural and from this she ADDED many books to the Holy Bible from these so called dreams and visitations. None of what she taught is inspired by God and even changes many biblical scriptures. This was truly a doctrine of demons!

Just found this channel the other day and I like a lot of the videos I've watched so far. Very Biblical. I have to point out that in 2 videos I've watched so far John MacArthur is referred to in your teachings. I'm not sure if you're aware of his teaching on the mark of the beast, but he actually states that he believes that if someone gets the mark that they can still come to Christ. He further states that he believes that if someone takes the mark that they will still be able to be redeemed, and he states that otherwise there would be no salvation of anybody during the tribulation. He doesn't think that anyone who takes it is a sentence to permanency. I was shocked to find this out because I really liked and listened to his teachings a lot before that. The Bible clearly says that "anyone who worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of HIs indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels in the presence of the Lamb"- Revelations 14:9-10. And there will be people who don't get the mark as stated in Revelations 20:4- "...Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worship the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands." What he has said is an absolute heresy and I can no longer listen to him or his teachings. I don't know what type of spirits might be involved in this deception but it could lead many people to hell. I hope he repents and recants his words, but unfortunately he has not yet even after being called out on it. With your message being about recognizing demon doctrines of deception, I'm hoping that you seriously get before God on continuing to quote or use John's teachings for any of your teachings until he repents. You teach on a lot of essential topics and I would like to continue listening, and I would have to pray whether I will continue listening if John's teachings continue to be used, I'm going to leave it up to God. John McArthur is wrong on many things, glad to see you recognize that...but Dr. Barnett is also wrong on some points - fore example , there is no place as hell, hell is a fire that annihilates the wicked and then goes out once they are consumed by the flames....Sabbath is the 7th day not Sunday which is the first day of the week...so you have accepted the common view held by most Christians, but would a loving God burn someone FOREVER...does it make sense, will you lose your compassion in heaven, will you enjoy it as you hear people scream--- there is no hell, no limbo and no purgatory, these are from the RCC and from the dark ages...read the book the fire that consumes by William Edward Fudge...Love will punish but never torture forever, that would not be justice...the first beast in Rev 13 is the Papacy the second beast in verse 11 on...is the USA together they will enforce their rules...the mark is in the forehead because that is where your brain is and from there you make your decisions, Rev. is a symbolic book, the mark is not literal, the mark of the papacy is Sunday as they changed the Sabbath day, God's mark is the 7th day Sabbath...the number 666 comes from vicar of the son of God or in Latin - Vicarius Filii Dei...in Roman numerals they add up to 666 the number of the beast and the man...so Barnett is good but does not understand Daniel and Revelation as well as he should...

Doesn't surprise me really. I have held MacArthur suspect for a long time but then again I'm not very fond of any Calvanists to begin with. There are too many passages that shoot holes all through their "theories". Not far from cult like if you ask me.

People are saying there are books left out of the Bible, one being Enoch. I don’t believe that. I’m wondering what you believe? I think this is a much needed sermon. Many people are confused.

The book of Enoch. Yes, a very interesting book. We should read it and think about it.

Why did Jesus say his Father is greater than him and all at John 10:29?

Greater than those who would try to snatch them out of his hand. But He and the Father are one. John 10:30

I have an elderly neighbor who believes that Jesus was just a prophet. I tried to explain to him that Jesus IS God but he refused to listen. Do I walk away from bringing him food or continue?

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Mathew 7:6 I say try again and if he keeps rejecting it then there’s nothing you can do but pray. Because although everything is already predestined we should still pray.

Then continue to bring food as a personal memorial of Jesus. It is the job of the Holy Spirit to convict any of us.

Where in the Bible does it say be in a religion because I can’t find it and if it’s not in Biblia then must be man made and I can’t follow what GOD didn’t say

If I may ask to learn God’s word, but where does it state in the Word that Jesus is the second person of the Trinity if He is God himself? I am a bit confused about this.

The Father and the Son and the holy spirit make up the Trinity - 3 individual persons with a common goal - the redemption of man....Genesis 1. 26 says - let "us" make man in "our" image----Philipians 2: 5-7 says Christ is equal to God ...at Christs baptism - the Father spoke, the spirit decended on Christ - that is 3 persons who are unified just asa husband and wife become -one...any questions just ask

@@DavidKing-qd3sp Hello David, thank you for your comment. However, why would you say 3 persons when we know that God is a spirit and the Holy Spirit is also a “spirit “? I understand that as Jesus Christ can in the form of a man, hence a person. I guess I don’t wish to state anything that is outside the parameters of God’s holy word if I can’t find it there.

@@charonpilgrim8086 ....Hi Charon, I will need time to adequately respond to you but to give a quick answer let me say this --- Genesis 1:26 says let "us" make man in our image...that is physical, yet involves the psychological, the spiritual, the social, etc., and dare I say "male."...lol So God is not a formless being, floating around in space. We must not take one text and build a doctrine on it. There is much we will not understand till we get to heaven. But I will do a little research and see what some commentaries say . Jesus said to Thomas - if you have seen me you have seen the Father. Angels and humans have form and that is because we were made in the likeness of God. Have a good day.

@@charonpilgrim8086 ..............I did a little digging and it appears that everyone says God has no physical body ...but that is not my view as I read scripture...and I justify my view on Genesis 1: 26-27 and what Christ said to Thomas - he that has seen me has seen the Father...so, there are 3 persons in the Trinity with 3 individual identities yet one in purpose...as man and woman become one in marriage ....this is not a major issue but could be for some...do you keep the 7th day Sabbath or Sunday?

@@DavidKing-qd3sp I think that in God's image means that we have consciousness, awareness. God is infinite. He is not physical. He is many dimensions beyond physical.

The demon doctrine by anyone that calls himself a Minister , teacher and preacher of God is this. Those that sows discontent among the Brethrens. And those that will add and take away from the Gospel of The Truth. And those that will Suppress The Truth in Unrighteousness. And those that calls the Good evil , and will turn right around and will call the evil good. And instead of climbing through the straight and the narrow way like Jesus Christ says we must do. Then you do the opposite and will try to climb up some other way like a Thief and a robber by night. And then these Lukewarm churches that are calling themselves The Church are only going in the name only ? But many are only going in The Customs and The Traditions of men. And men likes there Customs and Traditions. Even Jesus Christ did say that men shall draw nigh unto me with there mouth , and will Honor Him with there Lips , but there Hearts are still far from me. And they do Worship they no not what ? For many shall sugar coat the Truth so they don't offend. Because The Truth convicts , either The Truth will draw you into Repentance ? or if you don't want to hear the Truth ? Then the Truth shall drive you away because of one's Condemnation that they will say this is a hard hearing who can hear it ? Like Jesus says know The Truth and The Truth will make you free. And if anyone teaches any other Gospel besides The One that Jesus Christ had brought forth let him become accursed and The Wrath and The Judgement of God be upon him. And if any person teaches anything that goes against The Gospel of Truth then that person is only teaching The Gospel of demons.

The Jehovah witness says Jesus isn't the most important, it is Jehovah The Father . The are also proudly saying that the pure worship of God has been restored thru them ; mocking Christians that worship Jesus Christ . Jesus and the father are one , no differences at all whether i worship the father or the son ,or the holy spirit ,3 in 1 God.... How wrong and foolish of the jw....

Didn't the couch of Niseeaha take books out of the bible? If that did doesn't that mean we are missing some of GODs word? Man corrupted GODS Word so what if we don't have all the info is the dead sea scrolls part of Word of GOD?

The Bible is without a doubt God inspired and God managed. It’s His book. His word. It’s a complete picture of everything we need to know, every truth we must possess, and the authority or yardstick of truth we should measure all else against. There are no doubt more books inspired by God wholly or in part that are not included. But every word in the Bible is perfect and perfectly true. We are promised this by God himself. Now I also read the Dead Sea scrolls and since I read the Bible so often I can easily spot how they align with the Bible. I always pray before I read them and if a question arises or there is some kind of discrepancy than I obey God and look to the Bible as the final ultimate authority on truth. I do the same when I read Christian authors or listen to pastors. But the Dead Sea scrolls are exciting because they were used by the very first Christians who recognized and followed Christ and those documents were used before they ever met Him. It was the careful study of those documents that allowed them to correctly predict how and when and why Jesus would appear. No doubt Gods handprint is all over them.

Stacey, the bible is a complete book as God wanted it, never doubt that...it is your map for salvation and you need to trust it...the dead sea scrolls are fragments of old testament texts so they just confirm what we already have in the bible, as many copies of scripture were made over the centuries.

Also I have noticed all Christ wannabe religions like Jahovah witness or morman.... All have a bible they claim is like ours. They also have a book of their religion they use to interpret what the scripture says. How deceitful & sad. I'm so thankful Jesus chose to save me & open my eyes to His will so I can live in the world but apart from it. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

and how the passion bible was revealed it was through an angel called passion. Yet people can't see it

U know whats funny? I googled, "does the bible say to turn them away at the door?" And i got nothing.

1 John 4 does that mean when Jehovah witnesses come to my yard with those lovely magazines with help ful life teachings,I should not invite them into my home for tea or water on a hot day. Most people are so rude to them, I just feel sorry for them.

The earth is flat. Just like Gods Word says. Praise the Living God Jesus Christ

@@bubytomalo They come from space. There is no firmament. People have had meteors hit there house. Explain that. Early 20th century in Siberia a huge meteor exploded and leveled a whole forest. Explain that.
