I can't believe the amount of negative comments on here, like Adams said in previous videos, he's just a normal guy in his garage having a go, he's not a professional and is learning as he goes. Im sure Adam would love everyone to donate so that he could afford all genuine Ford parts or have someone restore the car for him.

Adam , i have just done the same rear end works on my sierra 4x4 cosworth, which involved refurbishing the rear drive shafts with new boots and a repaint , as the driveshaft lobro joints were externally rusty i cleaned these up and refilled these as you have with the external groove against the rubber gaiter, this has resulted in a slight rear end knocking noise that matched the road speed coming from the diff / drive shafts , as part of the rear end works the diff was also refreshed After a bit of searching the ford manual shows hat these groves on the lobro joints go to the outer edge , i am going to change mine around this week and see if it stops the slight rear end knocking noise .

Yeah ive used those JR kits for years. Good value and very satisfying DIY job especially on a split boot that could fail the MOT. One thing is those pliers you used for the clips check the squashed up ends dont foul on anything when the shaft is turned......my tool crushes the ends but also flattens them at the same time otherwise they catch probably on the ABS sensor (not a Ford mind)
