You need no Kingdom Hall, Club, or Society. JW come out of Watchtower. Nine men in New York, USA have horrified the Holy Bible and how other races and ethnicities can fall for these men, it’s hard to fathom. The churches, unless they rejoice and sing absolute praise to Jesus, come out of them because in “the last days” (we all have them, it’s called death), because the hatred and false doctrines are increasing and making innocent people fearful and loathing life. Yes Jesus is also called Lord, the Hebrew word ADONAI and Greek word KYRIUS both means Lord in English. (Act 2: 36) But not the Elohim (Hebrew) or Theos (Greek) means God in English that the only God worships by the Israelites and the true Christians. ( Isaias 43:10; 44:6; Mark 12: 32-34). Jesus taught that he has God, the Father the God of Israelites and the first Christians. (Mark 12: 29, 30 compare Deuteronomy 6: 4- 7) Even though Jesus is called god in the Bible, he is NOT the God of the true Christians. According to Jesus: John 20: 17 "I am ascending to MY FATHER and your Father, to MY GOD and your God.’” Jesus said "My God", clearly he has God who is superior than him and most powerful than him (John 6: 38; 14: 28). Jehovah God is the creator of Jesus and the source of everything that Jesus Christ has. (John 17: 6, 7; 1 Cor. 15:27)

You’re correct, he’s done a very good job explaining the mess the JWs have made of the truth of god’s word.

I have experienced this at one point in time my mother was a Bible, believing Christian. She believed in the word of God, and she now she is Jehovah witnesses. The doctrine of Jehovah witness is not right. Now she is in their cult when she sees me as competition .I just pray for her she is so misguided.

It’s really creepy because they hand write the letters and say stuff like they know you personally.. On the third letter.. I wrote them back and told them to stop the creepy foolisheness and if I got another letter I would turn it over to the police and file charges for stalking and I would also notify the local news station. I am currently studying the Bible with Jehovah's witness it is not like other religion that once you accept that Jesus is Lord or wish to be baptized you will be got baptized. In JWs you should know first the teaching in Bible about Jehovah God and Jesus. You are not force to be baptized because it is your personal decision and no one from JW can dictate you to do that. If you got baptized it means it is your personal decision to serve God. In your expression it seems that you are angry with the people you once accepted as brothers and sisters, suddenly you are accusing them as snakes. That is not a normal human thought, which often only happens to people who have done something that God hates as written in the Bible and reached the knowledge of the organization. When given a warning or discipline there are people who get angry and do not want to accept the advice or discipline that caused their anger. Whatever the reason, it's your personal decision to leave and innocent people can't be blamed just by your suspicions. It is true that whenever there are words mentioned in Kingdom hall during public talk from the Bible that it seems we are referred to because of the feeling that we are guilty of the things we have done. Hebrew 4: 12, 13 NLT Bible "For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable."

I was in that cult at a tender age. By God's grace am now born again. May God have mercy on those who are still held captive in this organisation and may they receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Time is running out.

I was a jw 20 years ago. I have good memories. I will say that so many teachings about holidays they have is accurate. Alot of other ppl have researched this and all of them are pagen orgin. One problem i have is we werent to accept any literature from other religons but expect them to take ours. They didnt want us to talk directly to ppl about thier religion and made a book explaining other religions to read according to them. That seemed controling to me. I felt if i had the truth then i can read things or discuss them that didnt mean my truth would change the truth doesnt change. I do not do holidays now but im no longer a jw but that part i have proven through research is correct. On a funnier note Peter was standing at the gates entrance to heaven to greet the folks coming in. One man came up and informed peter he was baptist. He was directed to the baptist cloud. Then another came he was catholic so peter sent him to the catholic cloud. But the man turned and asked peter who were the ppl way out there far on that cloud. Peter said oh they are jehovahs witnesses they think they are the only ones up here.😅

They do put it back in but its based on, as they publicize, “the best know english pronunciation…” and “since certainty of the pronunciation is not known…”. These quotes are from their own 1971 publication of “Aid to Bible Understanding” pgs 882-884 where they go on to explain that it was a catholic monk in the 12 century that added the vowel signs to achieve the name. So “adding it back” is not necessarily a good thing is it, its certainly not the “divine” name they purport it to be.

Remember, the Bible did not drop out of the sky… History shows us that Jesus didn't leave us a bible, the apostles didn't tell us which books belong in the bible, the church fathers never agreed on the 27 books of the NT through the 4th century, not only did they not agree but their list of would-be NT canons were GROWING during this time. So, if it wasn't the Catholic/Orthodox church, guided by the Holy Spirit, that compiled the 27 books of the NT in the 5th century, just 75 years AFTER the council of Nicaea which began the Trinitarian doctrine and subsequent councils of Ephesus and Chalcedon, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and preserved these scriptures by laboriously hand copying them over and over throughout the centuries before the invention of the printing press, the “rule of faith” for many, please tell us, show us, who did? And if this church no longer exists today, what good is the text which came forth from her if she couldn't sustain herself?

I asked a JW how was sin passed down from Adam, why we’re not perfect and we suffer because of something in the past we had no involvement in, they said to look at it like if Adam was a mold or cast that the rest of his offspring would be made like when you make bread you use a mold or pan, but when he sinned it’s like the mold was damaged, you can try to fix it but it would still have some imperfections or cracks, so now every bread made with that mold comes with a dent or imperfections, so to make a perfect bread you need a new better mold than the old one and that’s kinda what Jesus is, it like a painter starting with a new canvas, if he tries to add to his old painting he’s just adding to what is still there that isn’t perfect, you are worked on like when a sculptor doesn’t throw away the whole clay but chips away at it little bit by little the un useful pieces until he makes the statue he wants, the statue was always there hiding in the clay but was covered until it was worked on

So far so good, but 'soul sleep'...the question is: what do you understand by 'soul' of a human person? In Genesis we read: ' ...God breathed into the nostrills the breath of life, and man became a 'living soul'. Man's thoughts, his memory, his desires, his calculations, his mind, etc. are the expressions of his soul and his body joins with these expressions. When a person dies his body goes to mud (from where it is taken) and all his expressions stop...he is no more. If his expressions were good enough, his name is written in the 'book of Life'. According to Word of God, he is resurrected and joins with God forever. So, at death every man sleeps and God wakes him up (some for glory and others are punished). In 36 places in the Bible it is said, man sleeps when he dies. No where in the Bible speaks of dead-saints, purgatory, religions (denominations)...take care.

No more suffering. No pain. No grief. No sadness. No tears. The former things are wiped away. We are transformed in the twinkling of an eye. If we sleep at all, we may need the rest and THATs ok too. For Scripture says “Absent from the body, together with the Lord”. Remember the Transfiguration? Jesus made sure a few of his disciples witnessed that. The Ascension. How beautiful! God knows what He is doing. He is the One to trust. Everything works together for good for those who love Christ Jesus.

Humans are a trinity: body, mind, Spirit. Our job is to be aware of the Spirit which we usually neglect. Keep that Spirit connected to God and beautiful things of the Spirit. Live by the Fruit of the Spirit. Receive you Gift from the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Soul may be the conscious body and mind, the earthly living being. Yet without the Spirit, we are not. Balance. People need to care and nurture all three for those three components make us One.

Because he came.. was born to us in this world as e human..He was God in a human.. body..to show us his love and to rescue us... He gave us an example how..to live our life in realiationship to him..like he did to his father.He humbled himself for us.

I think during the leadership of Rutherford, the organization bought a mansion called Beth Sarim, where some of Gods people from the Bible, mostly from the Old Testament, and Men, would need some where to live after the resurrection, like Moses, Noah, Abraham, Issac, Jacob, David, Elijah

They say that as they do more searching and discover things that were misinterpreted in the past adjustments are made, maybe added that shouldn’t have been, that there’s somethings that were not found in the ancient manuscripts and change accordingly and try to harmonize it all

From what I understand, Charles Russell started a group that were called Ruselites then later renamed Bible Students, there are still Bible Students now that still follow Russell’s teachings, the Jehovahs Witness started after Russell died and there was a split from some Bible Students and Joseph Rutherford, the ones that stayed with Rutherford were later renamed from Bible Students to Jehovah Witnesses, the ones that left kept the name Bible Students, so Russell started the Russelites later named Bible Students not the JW, Rutherford started the JW after the split not Russell, so isn’t saying that Russell started the JW kinda like saying that Luther founded the other religion denominations different from Catholic cause he started the reformation and the Protestant churches came from there even the splinter groups, or did Luther start the Lutherans and the other religions were started by others even if they came after the Protestant movement and reformation

Matthew 12: 36, 37 "I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” If you really a true Christian you should not make false story and make deception but you are like your father, the god of this world. Jesus (the Word) is called god in the Bible (John 1: 1). Satan is called god also in the Bible (2 Corinthians 4: 4) and the Jewish religious leaders were also called gods (John 10: 34). The are many called gods ( 1 Corinthians 8: 5). Even though we can read that there are so called gods but we can't read that the Bible mentioned that there is "little god". There are so called gods, NOT only two that you maliciously accuse the JWs that they are implying that Jesus is "little god" for them. Even thought there are called gods including Jesus it doesn't mean that they are the god of the Hebrews or Israelites. During the time of Jesus on earth he was a Jew and HAS God that is why he was brought to the temple by his parents. Luke 2: 22 - 24 "When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, “Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord” and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: “a pair of doves or two young pigeons.” (The baby Jesus was presented to God in the temple. The one they called the Lord is the God who is in heaven NOT the baby Jesus). The God of Jesus is the God of Israelites and his disciples. 1 Corinthians 8:6 "yet for us THERE IS ONE GOD, THE FATHER" (no one else). Why didn't the apostle Paul teach that we have one God which is the Son, the Holy Spirit and the Father? Why he did not say that our God is the Son or Jesus? It is clear that even though Jesus is mentioned as god in John 1: 1, HE IS NOT THE GOD OF THE ISRAELITES AND THE FIRST CHRISTIAN'S in the first century AD. According to Paul, there is only one God for them, the FATHER, no one else. Because Paul was an Israelites and a Jew who worships the Father who is the God of their ancestors and that is what the Lord Jesus recognized and taught as the true God. Jesus said to his Father, Jehova God: John 17: 3 "THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE, that THEY MAY KNOW YOU, THE ONLY TRUE GOD," (no one else). Know YOU (the Father) - singular Only true God - singular Jesus never said "We" or "You and I" are God. Jesus NEVER TAUGHT HIS DISCIPLES TO WORSHIP HIM SELF AS THE GOD or he never taught them to worship the Son and the holy Spririt. If you are a true Christian you should follows Jesus' teaching to whom we should worship as our God. OUR GOD IS THE GOD OF JESUS. I am not yet a baptized member of JW but I know what is written in the Bible. You allegedly accused that the JWs were mistranslated the Bible, so we will use other Bibles which are not from the JWs.

So what does perish mean, if you don’t repent you perish, does it mean you will be alive suffering in hell, or that you will no longer be around

Whatever is said about the JWs has been rightly said, except the Soulsleeping. Let's be clear about this. The Bible says " The soul that sins shall die". So it means all people righteous or righteous shall all sleep in the grave till Jesus come. No body goes to heaven before Jesus comes. Fir this reason that Jesus is coming.. to take His children to His place (Heaven)

Some say there’s contradictions and errors in the Bible while others say that if you really are looking for something you will find it, I may really want to find a dinosaur bone in my backyard but if it’s not there I won’t, you can find what is there

The JW used to meet on Sunday to study the Bible and their magazine for two hours but changed it to an hour and a half, Monday they would study a book on a topic of the Bible for an hour, on Wednesday they had another hour theocratic meeting, now I think they put their book study and theocratic meeting together on Wednesday, and Saturday they would go door to door, I think they made changes to have more time to spend with family

I am here standing for jehova witness...being brought up since born now am 50yrs...the bible says..we are all not perfect...two whoever is not against us is with us.. three God is the judge...i love there teaching....

Curiosity. What do you think of some of the newest changes? The GB has given permission to wear beards. The GB says sisters can wear slacks, even in service. The GB has admitted they are not inspired nor infallible. Why did they make those rules in the first place? It was never in the Bible, if Jehovah didn’t care, why make up burdensome rules? The Pharisees did that too. Jesus turned their table over & said don’t do that. Why do they do it anyways? Seriously, I’m asking bc my husband is a devout JW. It’s mind boggling to me. 🤔

Don't use Bible for drama

With the years I’ve had contact with JW, I haven’t experienced or noticed some of the things you’re mentioning, I haven’t seen some of the stuff you mention but that doesn’t mean you didn’t, but for the actions of a few people it doesn’t necessarily represent an entire organization or persons or group, if someone does a lot of good then makes a big bad decision or mistake, they become suspicious of what they do in the future and we judge their intentions of the past good things, if a bad person does one good thing, does that erase the past bad actions, does not a bad person have the capability of changing, a good person the ability to be corrupt, if you or someone from your congregation behaves badly do I know judge what you teach or maybe the whole church is evil, there’s good and bad people everywhere

Well, I don’t think that if God isn’t in everything and everywhere that it would cease to exist, cause many believe that God isn’t in what ever activity, place or person is not acting godly but they still exist

I think the problem is when one part of the Bible, any Bible and actually all the Bibles, say one thing and then in another part it said something different, just write it and copy it as it is showing even if it’s a contradiction, people try to make sense of things and think what it could be trying to say and harmonize the whole thing when it was written by different people at different times and places with different lives who are individuals with different ideas, backgrounds experiences, yeah many match together but some things don’t so they try to fix it so it makes sense cause God can’t be contradicting and confusing, well there are inconsistencies in all the translations, some have minor errors or changes, but in a lot of it they’re the same

Don’t take something at face value or just cause someone tells you,don’t judge a book by it’s cover, be careful how you judge, do research, get info from the source, don’t be easily influenced or persuaded, ask questions and compare and contrast and make up your own mind and opinions, maybe God reveals different things to different people at different times just like he gives different gifts to different people

Where did the visit the grave of someone come from, and when did it become a custom or tradition, how is that not commemorating or worshipping the dead, the women went to Jesus tomb but they went to do what they didn’t do when he died, there’s some cultures that bring items to the grave like food cause they believe the spirit is still roaming around, we bring flowers, some venerate the dead by having the corpse in the house for a few days and that’s how they honor them, why visit the tomb, they can’t see or hear, it’s probably just to make ourselves feel better, kinda like therapy but without a license therapists or a $100 bill for one hour, but the dead can’t talk and give us counsel, the best landscape is at a cemetery, why everyone is dead, what about the rest of the plants out side the cemetery, we treat those bodies better than we treat ourselves or each other, expensive coffin or casket, does it make a difference to them if they have a pillow, do they know it’s their funeral seeing who showed up, dressing them up in the best clothes cause I guess they’ll need it for the next life, Jesus was wrapped in cloth

We’re all using a Bible that was decided by a group of men many years ago as to what is the word of God and what is not out of different writings and books, were these men and translators perfect

When it says that God took him of a person in the Bible, is that where we get the idea that when someone dies that it was Gods will, God wants them to die and take them from us for his reasons so we are left here with the loss, or is it just something we say to feel better that we can’t have them selfishly here, that they are no longer suffering, maybe it’s not that God takes them but that it’s what happens now in life because of some circumstance, weather it was natural or not early or late, someone’s actions or their own, or sickness, a disaster, it’s part of life and nature even if it wasn’t supposed to be in the beginning, but here we are now, how do we move on, how do we deal with it

Even a Christian cannot brush aside the worship of Jehovah as God. In Revelation 1:5 the Son of God called himself "Jesus Christ, 'The Faithful Witness.'" When on earth as a Jew, he was an Israelite, to whose nation the words of Isaiah 43:10 was written: "'You are my witnesses, is the utterance of Jehovah, 'even my servant whom I have chosen.'" Jesus demonstrated that he was a faithful and true witness of Jehovah God. His genuine disciples today must be the same kind of witnesses, Jehovah's.
