A toodler, child, youg child with a lake right out the door is a bigger risk than I would take. Friends with a house on a creek lost their baby to drowning.

I very much dislike that dates of 2022 in the headline are false. This is a 2013 episode.

Barn conversions seem risky: you don't know the quality of the old structure and foundation, you also don't know the quality of the addition. Too many variables is high risk.

I enjoy very much seeing the different offering. When I was a young man, I worked on renovations which I really enjoyed. I enjoy viewing houses, most recently in Ireland. What I don’t enjoy is the last few minutes of the video where Arabic music and speaking are playing. I’m not sure how that works in to the video unless of course someone of Arabic descent is posting the videos.

Why does a family with only one child - and parents never home, working, child in day-care or school - need THREE reception rooms and such vast space as the oast house? No mention of adding 4-6 other chlidren to the family, but you need an acre for one lonely child to wander around in? Talk about carbon footprint, heating and maintaining that for a family of less than 10 people is obscene.

not liking this , all these places are too mish mash. I love the countryside , not these ancient old smelly homes, I imagine cig smokers and moldy walls too 😆
