@@braidem from the sound of it I'm pretty sure he's doing like mid/highish false chord screams, which is the vocal technique used in most death metal and deathcore. Typical emo bands normally use Vocal fry screaming so you're probably used to the vocal fry screams from bands like Silverstein or under oath, so if you've never listened to any heavy music then I can see why you wouldn't like Ronnie's screams since they're not the typical emo scream. Of course he doesn't have nearly the experience that these deathcore frontmans have so his false chords are a little rough, but overall his screaming wasn't too bad in the Dying is your latest fashion album

Ah yes, the band that pretty much invented mallcore. Is it emo/post-hardcore? Is it metal? Is it pop rock? The answer is yes. And a whole generation of bands took that yes as a battlecry all the way into the Risecore era.

I can't believe it! MY HEART. The beauty of this video and song is that it is untainted. Pure innocence and genuinely original perfection in it's simplicity. This is the song that they need to collaborate on and reinvent. But instead of " in cliché". Define it with something that means innocence & youth. I keep playing it over and over because it reminds me of Jr High and the bliss & freedom of Innocence. 😇🥰🤟⏳

This is crazy, has Ronnie seen this I wonder? Or any of the other band members. I can't believe this doesn't have more views. The footage is so crisp and so many new little bits of footage that weren't in the original are here. Really awesome stuff and making me so nostalgic, thanks so much for posting. To think this is even higher quality than the eventual 'official' music video from the album version. Amazing that you were a part of this band's early days. I love to see the growth and where they all started, it's really inspiring and cool. My boyfriend is in a band himself (I have some of their songs on my channel) and I think right now they are in this similar 'early days' stage. I feel like looking back on this as a member of the band or a part of the project would feel so nostalgic and rewarding.
