A little theory I have about "the guardians" is that they are really powerful entities that takes little kids that ended up in the backrooms levels and takes them to their own level, the playrooms. But the guardians sees adults as an intruder or threat and will do what they can to kill them so they can protect the children they kept in the playrooms because they don't want children escaping. But I'm extremely amazing with what you did with this video, you did an outstanding job!

This video captures perfectly what the "backrooms" is all about. The tone here is set perfectly from the very start, a place that disturbing as it may look has you curious around every corner to see whats hiding there, what places there are to explore. Ambient noise in the background that makes you question who or whats beyond the current boundaries. And I especially loved the big teddy bear which almost everyone expects to move or turn it's head simply stays completely still and adding to the suspense. As the concept gained popularity over the months more people are jumping on the train to create content with it. But a lot of them simply go the "static screen/noise, bright empty rooms/hallways, and random creepy entity" route and keep it at that. Really hope the YT algorithm pushes this one up the ranks, it really deserves it!!!

I don't know why, but the little window that obviously leads into some kind of reception really unnerves me. It's as though you expect someone to be standing there to help you and tell you why these rooms exist. But, it's yotally devoid of people. Yet, there's this constant feeling of being watched, that someone or something is actually standing there, but you can't see them. The fear of places that would normally be filled with people conversation and activity. Instead, they're empty and silent which completely removes their meaning. They become meaningless structures that exist for nothing which makes their existence almost an invasion of reality

I'd like to appreciate the entity at the end, the Guardian. I think what makes it so threatening is how it's the total opposite of what the playrooms are supposed to be. They're supposed to be a place where children laugh, play, and have fun. The sound of the children crying is like the total opposite of that, so it immediately subconsciously let's you know that you're in a serious amount of danger. I know it's small, but again, the sound of the crying children eally emphasizes that it's the complete OPPOSITE of the playrooms, not something fun, not something cute. Something threatening, something that is going to kill you. If you ever make another, I'll be eagerly watching!

  • @Tavrinn

@@rattatouilletherat Not sure about this one, what makes alot of the liminal space and backrooms things creepy is the elements that would have a purpose normally (like the toys etc here, or a pool, office supply etc) but seem out of place, put there without a purpose and not being used, in creepy empty spaces. Adding children (even if they are actually entities) would give too much purpose and life to this place. Being lifeless and dangerous at the same time is an important part of why those videos seem so terrifying. Being alone with the guardians of such places hunting you, be it big evil teddy bears or creepy spaghetti looking monsters.

Brilliant work on this one. As children in the 80s and 90s we were led through places like these and our lives were recorded on VHS like this..... When watching these (or having similar nightmares) it's like revisiting those moments that space and time has discarded, where you're trapped and destined to be forgotten. What captivates me the most (and creeps me out the most) is the exploration of the strange architecture and freaky scenery. I felt that the coolest part of this video was towards the end when the elevator door kept opening and closing with a different setting every time it opened. The hallway extending off into the distance and the wavy flowing floor scenes being the freakiest! Introducing an entity into a scene is either a home run or a strike out with the latter being the most common, especially if the entity chases the viewer, which to me breaks the atmosphere. Great job on this video!

I don't have too much to say. But it's clear that you decided to craft a unique horror experience, with a portion of the packrooms lore that's been relatively untouched. This is some seriously well made stuff, and it's definitely got it's own surreally visceral feel to this. This monster never catches you till it's too late. Everything gets worse and worse, and the shift in aura is almost undecipherable. All you knew was that you had to leave, cause whatever this thing was, it wasn't as if anyone would know (dead or alive, all are mostly dead lol). And that's an interesting way to keep it. There are no patterns, no mathematical distances to gauge. You've fallen in to deep, this world now wants you gone. Reality itself warps around you, and you were from the moment you stepped foot in the playcare - what else can I say? I love how when you emerge on the balcony, your exit appears to have distanced itself rom you, over a void. A signifier that you cannot escape. I love how the rooms at the end shift from slight variation from the familiar rooms, to a startling reminder of childhood horror, to the warnings you failed to heed, to the world warping out of your reach, to the world moving to devour you whole. Love it all.

The maddening "happy" colors, the way the art on the walls devolves into violent, scarier images. And even the whole aspect of this section of the Backrooms having apparently been set up for children! It really taps into some psychological, deep-rooted fears. Even a lot of the architecture is different than the Backrooms stuff we've come to expect. Really well done, brother. This is one of the best found footages I've ever seen! things I like about it: -the terrain is unique and incredibly disturbing. the liminal space is superbly well done -the sound design is super unsettling. I love the silence versus the creepy children noises etc -the story and lore is unique to all other backrooms videos. I love how the bear shows up in various spots making the whole narrative connected. the movement between biomes is well done and makes the whole thing feel like the horrifying and grand adventure that it is. I like the use of key card identification as well... it adds some backstory to how the character is able to access special rooms. -the way the rooms got changed at the end is super disturbing overall super well done. one of the best backrooms videos till now. WOW. Excellently done. I love the way the portrayed the Backrooms almost like a living being, luring the protagonist down a path towards the Guardian. That final scene with the elevator was expertly done, with how every time the elevator stopped, it stopped at an increasingly terrifying and eerie place. The last stop, with the blood red floors undulating like the inside of a stomach, with the Guardian slowly turning around, and transforming as it neared the protagonist. Wow, for real, cool shit dude.

I love this stuff for the nostalgia. Reminds me of being a kid in the 90’s and running around with my brother through the hospital waiting rooms cutting up and being a nuisance. Some of the waiting areas would be diminishing and foreboding though. Sometimes there would be smaller nooks that nobody sat and even large labyrinthine waiting areas that would be dimly lit and deserted. I remember even there were doors down some hallways that were given special markings warning of hazards that We didn’t understand and we would decide that those rooms were where they kept monsters or experiments. I miss being a kid in that time but I’m glad people are making an effort to recreate these subconscious settings.

I always hated how clean and untouched they looked, as a kid. Then you got the arcade type carpet which reminds me of like chuck e cheese or a movie theater. I loved the last elevator part, especially when there was that room that just extended. That elevator itself should become a key point in the backrooms, maybe a false exit that only leads further into the backrooms. see what i like about this is there wasn't super sonic running when he was getting away from the entity. i really loved the textures it had because it really felt like a old cam cord from the 1990s. the movements with the camera were actually really good and actually made me think he was confused with his surroundings, this is one of the best backrooms videos i've watched so far and what makes it 1000 times better is the length of the video. please keep making these videos and you might just have yourself a forever fan!.

Man, i've seen a lot of backrooms found footage and most of them are really meh, just mid, but this my man, is incredible, you and Kane really comprehend what the Backrooms are meant to be, if someone does a Backrooms movie, you and Kane should be instantly hired

the story (lore?) you made here is brilliant, it's like a little puzzle inside the found footage. The signs for kids seems to indicate safety ("you must be 18 or under!!!" and "stay near a guardian," etc), but mean death to adults. The bear symbolism changes, as well, from a big soft teddy holding a girl's hand to a grizzly ripping a man's face off. And the whole vibe was impeccably creepy. kudos, loved it!!

Honestly the way you did this is insane, so realistic and intense, one of the best backroom creators by far, phenomenal. you hit nostalgia in so many ways, in a sense, you preserved a time that may no longer be in the future, something us of the 90s & 2000s were the last to experience, thanks for doing this, in the past these were the kind of things I think people didn't care about or would remember that I liked, to know other people do and did is such a relief.

I love how you made whatever entity there is not entirely visible. To be specific, the entity may be there but the viewer has to look closely in order to capture its presence. Unlike other videos, you’re very patient with what you want to express, rather than being straightforward.

Good work man! I really think you did a great job of portraying the backrooms universe! Your videos should get the same amount of views that the ones of frag or Kane. You really nailed that feeling of loneliness and uncanny vibe the backrooms can give to you. It’s a shame you don’t receive as much visibility as the others animators but im sure you will get it!

All of these are so well made, but this is the first one that really explored the color palette I was picturing or "remembering" along with the original videos of the back room. Those muted off whites/reds/greens/blues. It's like the storyboard I remember of being forced around to a bunch of places after school like daycares and doctors offices until I could go home.

I like how you made the environment look so human I feel like with most backrooms videos that leave it too barren but most of the appeal of the liminal images that they base them on is that the places feel like they should have people but are completely empty. I love when people make it feel lived in and abandoned because it feels like some cosmic horror monster is trying it's best to recreate the human world with it's basic understanding of what's a building but too formulaic or glitchy and the lack of people input to make it safe. Like it wants to interact with humans so it creates rooms for humans but there's also other creatures in this dimension that are just there living there and they are now forced to survive in this maze just like the humans which is probably why they attack people in order not to starve to death
