This was the biggest favourite Estonia has had, really. By far the most viewed Estonian song, they played it in radios in Europe etc. I've never seen such love for an Estonian entry, it's iconic for that reason alone in my eyes and I know the difference because I'm Estonian, the air around it was special. Before the contest, it was first for example in the Eurovision tops on KZread etc. But the chemistry was something they just worked on (they are good friends. Their age difference is like 15 years anyway. Stig also wrote and produced her first album) and no, they're not an actual couple. He had a girlfriend and now they're married and he has a daughter (and another one coming soon) :)

Oh, to answer your question they were not a couple during eurovision. He said in an interview he wrote the song and was looking for a singer to perform with. She made youtube videos with her performances, he kinda stumbled upon one of them and he immediately thought she'd be perfect for the duet. End of (a not so romantic) story 😊

I knew you’d love it! Obviously, it stands as one of the best songs of 2015. For me, it’s one of the best Estonian entries ever.

This was worth the wait. This entry is one of Estonia's Big Three together with 2009 and 2012. It's hard to find a top 3 of Estonian entries that isn't some combination of those three, although I guess La Forza will shake things up a bit now.

Funny how two ballads consisting of duets got split so much in the jury/televoting. Jury goes for the more controlled ballad of Norway and the audience went with the more emotional performance from Estonia!

Estonia and Norway's duets were my very favourite songs of 2015. I still listen to Elina Born's music- it's timeless. On the subject of duets I will instant request Malta 2004- Julie and Ludwig- On Again Off Again. It is legendary.

No, they're not a couple in real life but two of the most respected artists in Estonia. Tho me the song has a certain Lee Hazelwood/Nancy Sinatra written by Burt Bacharach vibe. And did you notice the single tear running down Elina's cheek? She's that good of an actress! Estonia is one of my favorite Eurovision countries and they have the best national preselection, Eesti Laul, with so many great experimental, artsy and contemporary songs to choose from. Unfortunately the Estonian people don't always make the right decisions... Most famously in 2014. They had THREE potential winner songs available and chose some some feeble expressive dancer instead...

I loved the duets in 2015. I already previously commented that the Czech Republic was my favourite entry, but this one was a VERY close second. A truly haunting performance.

this song is so amazing! i didnt get the hype at the time because i had other favourites (belgium, sweden, etc) but it really is an amazing vocal performance and amazing song and it deserved to do as well as it did!

If they released the Eesti Laul 2015 songs, i knew this will win and it was the best. Totally slayed in the superfinal, got 70% of the votes in the superfinal. And when we have a clear favourite in our national final, then usually we do well in the Eurovision too - 2012, 2015, 2018 are good examples.

Ahhh I have been waiting for your reaction for Estonia 2015. Watching from the airport right now. I adore this song! I have Elina's full album that Stig co-wrote. Stig is pretty popular in Estonia, and he messaged Elina while she was in class saying he saw a video of her singing on KZread and wants to sing with her, and she started crying.

I was looking forward your reaction to this lovely song. Your point of view is great, I am highly agree!

I heard this song before, and I did not even know it was on Eurovision. It is a high quality music, so catchy and emotional. ❤ I think she sang better, but both vocals were great. And the combination of their voices is perfect. Probably, the 7th place is a fair result for them, but that's only because it was such a tough competition in 2015.

They were so great - and deserved a higher place in the final :) Bravo Estonia! :) :) :)

Excellent entry from Estonia......the chemistry between Stig and Elina appeared convincing.....personally though, Norway's song just takes the edge for its dramatic feel........did you know Jake that both artists have made subsequent solo attempts to represent Estonia since....Elina came last in the national final last year and Stig 3rd in this year's renewal👍

Interesting fact: both male singers from your last 2 videos competed again this year in their national selections and both finished 2nd :D Stig Rasta went solo this time but finished 2nd to Elina Natchayeva, while Morland competed as a songwriter, he wrote the song for Rebecca who finished 2nd in Norway's selection this year. Jake, it is very reminiscent of the BuckinghamNicks band's music before Stevie & Lindsay joined the Mac.I do remember thinking something was a little bit off with the Goodbye to Yesterday performance when compared to the rehearsals and SF performances. Still very good, and one of my favorites in 2015.

They are not a couple. The male singer wrote the whole lyrisc. And, they were at 1st spot on beeting odds at the begging. But they finished “only” at 7th.

If you have a chance, watch the semifinal performance. They were even better, particularly Stig.

Hi, I’m from Estonia! By far one of my faves we have had. In 2015 I was truly hoping for a win but never really believed in it since there were so many great songs. This year with La Forza I genuinely believed we could win since it was so powerful song and made me love it from the second I first heard it. I used to hate opera but Elina made me have chills. Coming back to 2015 entry, I have sang this song myself and it’s really catchy. I could always see how much broken heart was poured into it. Elina Born seriously sounded like she believed in what she was singing and it was proven by the tear in the end. Amazing duo, amazing song. I hope one day they will do another song together. PS: I genuinely hoped Elina and Stig would date in 2015. It never happened tho. Now Stig has one beautiful kid and one on the way with a very beautiful woman. :)
