  Women with those looks and figure are great at belting it it out. Florrie Forde, Sophie Tucker, Ella Fitzgerald etc. As for the song the intro is the basic German Boom Boom Schlager BUT alas the melodic chorus has a bigger problem for a jury voting for originality which is bound to affect the voting badly.   What is an interesting coincidence is that when Hélena Paparízou won the 2005 Eurovision it was her nameday! For us Greeks (we are more than 90% Greek Christian Orthodox) our nameday is more important than our birthday. It was the 21st of May 2005. Saints Konstantínos and Eléni were celebrated. Hélena's real birth name is Eléni. But is very common for an Eléni to be called Élena, Léna, Lenió, Léngo... Élena in English is Helena.

  I was 8 years old when he won first time. Still one of my top 5 best ever winning songs. He was catching with it the world quality...many well known artists from the other side of the Ocean would made of this even a bigger hit than it was.... With his won in 1987...he had just an european one....

  I love how here this is also filled with turkish nationalists that are so mad that they lost. Im sorry but, I havent seen any other country do this when at 2nd place, and germany never won that often so just leave it to them for once lol. (Note: Germany had a few years where they were 3rd or 2nd and didnt go this far to try and discredit the winner bruh)

  No podría estar más de acuerdo con tu opinión, Mélovin es todo un talento, canta HERMOSO, y es un verdadero showman❤No sé cómo hayan estado sus otros competidores en el 2O18, pero aún así pienso que fue un robo, y que éste chavo, o debió ganar, o debió haber quedado en un mucho mejor lugar. A mi parecer hubo complot y alguien lo boicoteó. Pero tiene un gran futuro y es una enorme promesa para la música y el entrenamiento. Soy de México (muy lejos de Ucrania), y ya soy su fan😌✨✨✨

  good thing they named it "grande amore" because grand is the right way to describe this song xD. Its nothing different then powerful. Its hard to compare this with "Heroes", because those two songs are so different in style, genre and atmosphere, but I can't help it and think that "grande amore" is on another level then 2015s winning song
