To enjoy long tours we used to take acting driver. So Maruti must think of releasing xl6 in both 6& 7 seater options. Surely it will boost the sales of xl6. Many customers are choosing Kia Carens only because of this defect. Carens is providing both 6&7 seater options. To stop customers moving to some other brands immediately Maruti must release xl6 in both 6&7 seater options.

are 2 adults able to sit comfortably in 3rd row in ertiga (5.2 to 5.5 height adult ppl, not that fat), how is the leg room, knee space for adults in 3rd row seats- None of youtube reviewers talk abt the leg room clearly

@@ramjiYahoo yes 2 adults can comfortably sit in the 3rd row. Enough knee room is there. No doubt in it. 3rd row space in Ertiga is better than Hyundai Alcazar.

I feel reviewing any vehicle without all seats occupied isn't fair because let's be honest here 90% of the time in India we only take a car out if we have full seat. I would love to see all reviewers do their review with all seats occupied. I know that not practical but hey one can wish right.

Very good point. Engine performance can drastically change with passengers. Especially NA petrol engine. Or maybe they can use proxy weights to mimic passenger presence.

Nice comparison. However at 12:03 you mentioned that in manual there is 6-speed gearbox introduced. I could be wrong, but I am not aware of any Maruti-Suzuki models with a 6-speed manual transmission. Their torque-converter AT has of course been upgraded from the older 4 speed to the newer 6-speed AT. By comparison, Hyundai cars, i20, Venue, Creta and others all have an excellent 6-speed manual transmission, enabling cruising at 90+ at very low RPMs.

If you looking for Automatic with cruises control then xl6 is best option. Because those options are only available in top end ertiga and on road cost is higher than xl6 AT zeta. In this way , xl6 is cheaper than ertiga :)

Comparing to xl6, ertiga is better because ertiga is seven seater and xl6 is six seater. In xl6 centre row should be three seater. If a family with 6 members is going to a tour with acting driver means ertiga seven seater would be a better option with the same comfort and low price.

I think there is not much difference in ride and handling due to 16 inch wheels on xl6. Average mileage figures of Automatic in city and on highway at a speed of 80-90 km/hr can be given. Even though mileage depends on driving style also this could be a valuable input for customers who want to buy this vehicle.

Xl6 is best in class while comparing to ertiga . i owe a 1st gen xl6 manual version. Driving xl6 gives me pleasure, it is very comfortable for me while driving also for the passengers . The engine gives a reasonable performance . My high way top cruising speed is 130 kmph , at this speed the control of the car is good . It can do upto 150 kmph but definitely this car is not made for over speeds. I get a mileage of 17 to 19 kmpl on highway ride of a cruising speed of 90 to 100 kmph. At 130 kmph i got 13 or 14 kmpl . Even though it is a non turbo vechile the mileage is good according to me. The suspension is on the softer side , you cant feel any bumps much inside the car . But the highway ride is little bumpy . Both the interior and exterior looks are way better than ertiga ( according to me) , i prefer black interior over beige . So the conclusion is , if you are looking for a good performing, efficient, comfortable and reliable mpv , your only option can be ertiga or xl6 .both the car are same in many aspects but it has minor changes . ( neglect safety star ratings , beacuse i dont believe in crash tests and ncap rating . Safety is in our hands ) . Selecting between these 2 cars only depends upon your budget . There's no work for over thinking and confussion. Thankyou 🙏.

@@ramnadvlogger162 No bro , i almost done over 8k kms on xl6 . I didn't notice any kind of ratling noise on the car bro . But i do notice the ratling noise on the new gen baleno which is my mothers car run over 1k kms . The noise arise while raising the car at higher rpm , it sounds like a metal sheet or piece is vibrating under hood. I think so i didnt really push xl6 that hard 😅.

My XL6 vehicle had multiple issues - OC volve failed after 10000 Kms ran...i was in trichy with maruti service dealer, they couldnt find out , finally i escalated to Maruti to fix it urgently, it was just 1 year old car that time...after that i have break noise issue, I went to bangalore dealer whom i purchased from, they couldnt figure out where the noise coming from , fixed on trial and error method, so far it is fine - i am afraid what else would break within 2 yrs warranty period - i guess Maruti XL6 QC is not doing good job , so better to get Ertiga

7 seater is uncomfortable in real world, when a 3rd row passenger can actually stretch his legs between the 2nd row captain seats space , it will also help to place some luggage here instead if you put full seats where will you load the luggage of all 7 people? Maruti does everything for a reason.
